Disappointed in quality
By Customer on March 9, 2010 I purchased this paint because my boy is chemically sensitive and wasn't able to utilize conventional paints. The paints smell lovely, and we enjoyed mixing them up. My boy had a good time painting. However the paint isn't smooth, it's splotchy. also, it's impossible to wash the brushes. The colour globs stay there regardless of how much you rinse.
However the worst offense is the fact that when the paint is dry, it flakes quickly the paper, departing no artwork left around the paper. A large problem, i believe!
I'll watch for Clementine Arts tempera paints to return available and then try individuals.1 Comment 43 of 47 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Sepp on This summer 12, 2011 I purchased this paint since i wanted a truley non-toxic natural paint in my daughter to make use of. At that time I purchased it she wasn't yet 2 and still putting many things in her own mouth. Should you consider the labeling of all traditional finger paints they are saying three and Up.
That one includes a nice component list that's simple to identify and regardless of the greater cost I figured it might be worthwhile. I additionally loved the concept that it had been powdered so you could utilize what you desired and reserve the remainder.
Mixing up, easy.
Painting with it wasn't so excellent. The ultimate paint felt very grainy. My daughter really didn't such as the texture and it did not flow very easily over the paper. It is also very stiff and chalky when dry and flakes off easily.Comment 15 of 15 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Dandy's Girl on This summer 29, 2014 I truly, really, wanted to like these paints since they're eco-friendly and Family possessed but i was horribly disappointed. The feel is off putting, my toddler declined to the touch them because they combine like watery clay and are kind of gritty even if we attempted adding vegetable oil rather water. The feel may be improved should you attempted mixing it with coconut oil but, I did not do this. The artwork we produced by rubber stamping and running small cars with the paint dried a uniform, uninspired, beaten up grey that also flaked from the paper developing a huge mess. Essentially the whole project would be a bust from beginning to end, it had been like "painting" having a dirt mask. They did cleanup pretty much that is a reason for their favor. If traditional paints are a complete no-choose your loved ones it is really an option, but it is not an excellent one. I really hope the organization can enhance their product since this is such a good idea and I'd like to see more eco-friendly art products but I simply cannot in good conscious recommend the product because it with other families.Comment 9 of 9 people found this useful. By Mommarama on August 19, 2010 I decided this paint because my toddler desired to paint her body with conventional paint and being uncomfortable using the possible ramifications of this, I attempted to look for a natural paint. I am certain what another reviewer stated concerning the problems while using paint in writing holds true, because the paint dried fairly rapidly and grew to become crackly before long. But we'd a really fun time utilizing it as body paint, I felt really happy knowing she'll use around she wanted without having to worry about toxicity, the colours are vivid and mixing to produce different textures was fun too. Because of the cost, we'll likely make use of this paint particularly for this function.Comment 16 of 20 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Caitlin Wheeler on June 18, 2015
The colours look so vibrant around the box, but i was disappointed within the end result. The paint colors look okay when combined with water, but after they dry and paper are extremely very light. The paints were also a bit grainy and lumpy to combine, and while using one-to-one ratio had the paints too watery therefore we needed to add more powder. I had been glad these products are extremely natural, because our babies were eating the paint! But simultaneously I'll most likely order the non-natural version the next time to ensure that the largest a bit of artwork we love. Comment 4 of four people found this useful. I got myself the product since i did not have considerable time to become making eco paints on your own. both my daughter and I really like them. Be cautioned the colors once they dry in writing aren't much like the way they look when initially mixed. I'm however, Really pleased with the product and the pleasure it brings my daughter when she's painting.Comment 1 of just one people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? By fountained on December 11, 2013 I love them since they're non-toxic, but I don't such as the texture. As it happens really gritty and Not smooth whatsoever. I allow the kids utilize it within the bathtub to color it and themselves, and it's fun this way. The colours really are a bit dull, and so i wouldn't utilize them for a real art project.Comment 1 of just one people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback...
