By L Steiner VINE VOICE on December 23, 2008 This can be a really cute, happy searching monkey that really teaches without batteries, lights or noise! He's several dressing activities, much like Dressy Bessy and Dapper Dan. He's a zipper, buttons, straps, ETC. to assist the small ones learn how to dress. It provides extensive detail, browse the footwear! He even includes a little blueberry that may be kept in his pocket, which for whatever reason fascinates my youthful grand son! This can be a well-crafted, sturdy toy that my grand son likes to have fun with and Love.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... by S. Bell on May 31, 2009 My two year old loves this monkey. He has fun undressing him when I put the clothes on it (he can't quite obtain the clothes around the monkey themself yet, but he is able to sure take them of!). Also, he likes to put on the 'monkey socks'.
Unlike most of the other 'learn to dress' toys, the person aspects of that one are sturdy and well-crafted. The buttons are oversized and are the perfect size for little hands. Overall, this is ideal for teaching children about various kinds of clothing fastener.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I had been wishing for any toy to assist educate my preschooler how you can Zip, Tie, buckle, button, -get outfitted without adult help, get yourself ready for school. I'm disappointed. My grandmother were built with a wonderful group of puppets after i would be a kid that every had clothes that permitted kids to rehearse lacing up and tying bows, button, Zip, and Snap. The awesome factor about my grandmother's puppets would be that the clothes didn't appear and couldn't go missing. These were made from quality material. This monkey can loose his clothes too easily. Everything comes completely off. The buckle isn't a buckle such as the kind I've on my small footwear or belt, there's no prong so although it is simpler and some belts are created this way, it is not just as much help as I'd like. The footwear are great practice, if keep these things around the monkey and not lose them. The zipper is okay, but it might be nice whether it was on the jacket or something like that that opens completely so that your child could practice obtaining the catch began too. The snaps are cheap plastic and by no means such as the metal ones I see of all clothing. The hem around the pants legs is completed very poorly and it's already fraying on the completely new toy! The monkey is colorful and the arms, Legs, and mind are made from soft velour-like fabric in fun colors. The abdominal area is made from cheap fabric that isn't high quality. His mind does appear to become well built. He is an extremely cute stuffed toy, but I do not find him to become worth $25 whatsoever, and not for attempting to educate kids to decorate themselves. Should you Simply want a colourful cute stuffed monkey, I suppose it's a reasonable buy. We've got some other Alex brand toys which are far better quality and so i am hugely disappointed.4 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Jay Hartman-Berrier on September 17, 2009 We bought this monkey for the daughter on her second birthday. After searching online at the learn how to dress toys it was the one which appealed probably the most. I especially loved there would be a completed act, an objective - rather of just unzipping and zipping a zipper you can undress the monkey and dress it again. Alex would be a hit in the first moment and now Alex sleeps together with her, in a variety of states of dress or undress. He's just adorable, colourful and affectionate. Yes, you will find parts to obtain lost, which means this may not be a toy to consider everywhere. But a part of understanding how to get outfitted is wearing the socks and footwear, the shirt, the pants, not only unbuttoning a control button and doing the work up again. Her closest friend made the purchase within 24 hours, and Alex continues to be our granddaughter's constant companion. A #one in our book.Comment Was this review useful for you? I purchased this monkey in my nephew for Christmas. If this demonstrated up, both buttons on the front (for that button hole and loop closure) were missing. It had been the 23rd and past too far to have an exchange, and so i just stitched on new buttons. As he attempted to unsnap the snaps each morning, the entire snap (front and Back) pulled from the overall strap. Your money can buy, I discovered the caliber of the product to become low.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I purchased this toy in my two year old Daughter for Christmas. She loves to buckle and unbuckle things and so i thought this is a great toy on her to learn to button, Snap and Tie. After she opened up it and started to experience by using it I recognized the buttonhole was not big enough for that button and the snaps were extremely hard to Snap and unSnap. I had been completely disappointed in the caliber of this toy. I believed it was designed to help a young child learn not frustrate the kid! Would certainly NOT recommend this toy!Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By Customer on September 12, 2009 Our daughter received this liven up monkey on her second birthday. She's learned how you can put socks, Pants and footwear on and removed from using him. She has also learned how to operate a zipper (his is among the better ones). I believe he is a great value and Very durable. He's still going strong following a year useful. We have two others a generic one (brand unsure) and Squeak E Mouse. Squeak E Mouse is another good version. He has a jacket having a hood and a backpack--very cute and durable too--she just does not like having fun with a button therefore we make use of the clothes around the monkey and other dolls.Comment Was this review useful for you?
