6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Fantastic AT walker for the price
By padj650 on The month of january 30, 2015 Like the TIE fighter prototype, I purchased this set in a local store since it appeared as if a good design and it might be less expensive than any original AT-ST for purchase.
The build itself was a breeze (in accordance with the # of pieces) and there were not any counter-intuitive steps to undergo. Using a rubber piece to carry the 2 primary "walls" from the walker's cockpit was advisable, passing on versatility while holding the cockpit together solidly. There have been a few stickers to connect with a panels, and two half-sphere pieces which come colored. There does not appear to become any pieces that will disappear and wander off easily, avoid wasting "dish" pieces that suit within the joints within the legs.
The end product is a convenience to take a look at, having a ball-mounted turret and spring loaded missiles. The cockpit (which rotates sideways) opens in the top in 2 ways: as a hatch above the back seat (so that you can pose the pilot or perhaps a Stormtrooper to become popping from the top having a blaster) or because the entire middle panel that folds to reveal the whole cockpit of two seats. The minifigures are nice, with 2 identical pilots, 1 Stormtrooper (you cant ever must many, right?) and Agent Kallus, a personality I am presuming originates from the Rebels series that appears pretty awesome.
It ought to be noted the legs, when they have moving joings in places, generally are not shipped for movement. There are just a number of positions the legs could be for the reason that could keep the master upright without falling over, and the upper joints will not rotate for you to pose it so that one leg is in front of the other (running pose).
Despite the fact that, the master is super awesome like a display piece and looks good alongside my AT-AT. Acquire one before prices get jacked up!Comment Was this review useful for you? By Mark Ross on Feb 16, 2015
I acquired this in my boy while he loves legos and he's just beginning to go into to The Exorcist due to the Disney The Exorcist Digital rebel show. We'd a lot of fun putting this together and it came shipped very well to make certain there wasn't any damage even going to this area. It had been a good deal and My Boy and I assemble it the very first morning we opened up it!! I'll continue using this vendor and I suggest exactly the same holiday to a customers available! By Devon Payne on April 12, 2015
It has been a couple of years since I have really bought myself a LEGO set, so putting this together was pretty surreal for me personally. Obviously, I've no regrets. This area art really does not do that set justice.
The AT-DP by itself looks accurate to the source material, without the yellow bricks in spots, but they add attract world war 2 machine. Otherwise it'd look pretty bland, as being a hulking slab of gray. The ball turret enables for a variety, made wider through the rotating cockpit. The cockpit itself could be utilized in a number of ways: the primary two to be the hatch over the rear gunner seat in which a minifigure could be positioned, and the entire middle panel itself, which opens and enables two minifigures to become sitting down. Alternatively, two pin-like pieces can be slid out of the back of the cockpit to make the sides loose (they are locked in place with special rubber bricks), enabling you to open it up up further, as needed. It's all regulated very solid and well-built, and is really taller and more imposing than I was expecting. It stands even taller than a single of my Bara Manga-era Bionicle models, which required me pleasantly unexpectedly!
The legs from the master were a little... Surprising, as you would expect. don't misunderstand me, they appear fantastic, but they merely get one reason for articulation that does not permit the legs to actually move or perhaps be posed. Actually, their design forbids angling the cockpit below a ninety degree position. this really is disappointing, but could be remedied by sliding the pins that keep your hip joints kept in place, or by modifying their construction. Awesome new model but it might be better when the articulation from the legs was improved. It's limited pose-ability.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Like several Lego The Exorcist toys, That one rocks ! and an excellent representation. However, It isn't perfect. My greatest complaint is the possible lack of articulation within the leg joints. There just is not enough movement inside them so you will never have fun with it. Also among the laser shooters is simply too sensitive and beeps at random.Comment Was this review useful for you?
