BV Bicycle Commuter Rear Carrier Rack for 26", 28" and 29" (700C) Frames
By Bob C on April 27, 2014
20 of 20 people found this review useful I love the making of this rack. However, as mentioned in earlier looks at the hardware incorporated is poor. The bolts are short, and there aren't nearly an adequate amount of these to correctly mount the rack towards the bike. I'd extra bolts and nuts on hands which i made work, but anybody that does not must be ready for a home improvement store run. also, there wasn't any hardware incorporated for attaching the rack towards the seat publish. Again I'd parts on hands which i could make work.
Main point here this can be a nice sturdy rack but the maker must range from the proper hardware and Instructions.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 19 of twenty-two people found this review useful I got myself this believing that I could do the installation myself. I needed to go to some bike shop and pay $15 to have it installed. There wasn't any hardware that included the product to set up it. The bike shop guy explained it had been absurd they would sell something with no proper materials to set up this. It had been missing nuts, bolts, and screws!Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. 8 of 8 people found this review useful Was designed to fit a bicycle with 700 tires. I supppose, but only, and not for those who have fenders. I can not apply it to my bike but will install on my small lady's bike. She does not have fenders. Not impressed using the product discription.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? 7 of seven people found this review useful This rack is lightweight and well built. The factor is the fact that nobody should should ever buy one of these simple side triangular racks. Eventually someone puts a pannier of some kind around the rack. Then it is only a matter of time prior to going more than a speed bump or anything else jolts the bike, and the pannier adopts the spokes. I am speaking from experience, and It ain't pretty.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By Kevin Cruz on March 30, 2015
5 of 5 people found this review useful The product is crap. It will not fit any one of my bikes the actual way it is pictured within the images. It's way too narrow to mount towards the frame, when you get it near to the left side frame rail, the best side is on the top from the gear set.
There are 0 (Zero, CERO, nada) instructions on setup, what you know already that it is a pretty easy installation, but if this does not slide into position it might be nice to possess something within the package with possible solutions.
Maybe this could fit a bicycle with 1 gear, but it won't fit my 26" mtb, nor my 700r bicycle, nor my wife's 26" cruiser. every one has exactly the same problem. Basically desired to custom develop a rack I would've began on your own, not seek one on that states fit 26-28" frames.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. Sorry, we unsuccessful to record your election. Please try again steer clear, does not fit multigear bikes.

5 of 5 people found this review useful When received, it had been apparent that it wouldn't fit at the base frame holes, a minimum of not without lots of bending and swearing and possibly smashing the darn factor. I attempted to place this on the regular 21 speed mtb. To 's credit they permitted me to send it back without loss. Rather I purchased and Got this: Ibera PakRak Bicycle Touring Carrier Plus+ IB-RA4 Frame-mounted for heavier top & side loads. It is a couple of dollars more, but is infinitely higher quality and the underside is wide enough to suit without bending, hammering and swearing. Like a bonus, you can purchase some neat bags made solely for that rack.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... by R. L. Reeves on March 21, 2015
4 of four people found this review useful Does others think the elevated area of the rack ought to be within the rear rather of from the seat? It appears backwards. To be sure using the others - hardware insufficient. I'd extra hex bolts on my small hybrid bike from your alternate water bottle location, and so i used individuals for that drop outs in the rear wheel. It appears very solid. (Screwed up with parts I'd in your own home. I didn't make use of the sad hardware they incorporated that was completely nonfunctional.) It works acceptable for me. The only real factor I truly do nothing like about this is it appears reversed. The improved area of the rack expires inside my seat. Now I can not attach my underneath the seat bag which i always employ! Negligence the rack that sticks up blocks accessibility zipper opening around the under seat pouch. Now I am going to need to make yet another buy for a little bag that attaches in front from the bike or elsewhere around the frame.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? 8 of 10 people found this review useful Yeah it is a good one i slapped a crate onto it handles groceries, Gallons and orange juices not a problem. Easy to obtain the tight suit you want. Solid Choice and way cheaper than buying it at the stinking bike shop wallet rape centerComment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback...
