By Johnny ? TOP 50 REVIEWER on March 26, 2014 Size: 32 GB company: Verizon Wireless Color: Gray I really like HTC phones and I've both last year's One(M7) and the 2010(M8). I'm not associated with HTC or compensated by them by any means. I simply believe that competition and the underdog information mill crucial and required for a proper free market economy, and Ultimately, us consumers. I've had the iPhones 4 through 5s, Samsung Universe S3/S4 and note 2-3, and several Nokia(N95/97, n84/85 and several lesser phones) and The new sony/The new sony-Ericsson(XPERIA) phones through the years, and I've loved many of them. For any healthy and positive technological evolution, we want the little or battling the likes of HTC to achieve success. If Apple and Samsung become duopolies, that'll be a dark future indeed. Get an HTC One(M7 or M8) and any Samsung Universe phones and compare the standard and craftsmanship, and let me know why it's Samsung and not HTC which have more effective phones. It is all about the cash and Marketing, the larger guy attempting to squeeze the smaller sized guy, and that isn't the way a healthy free market economy ought to be.
Since that's taken care of, why don't we get lower towards the nitty gritty. This really is my direct comparisons towards the iPhone 5s, Samsung Universe S4/S5 and Note 3, but mainly towards the last HTC One(M7)(You will find, I'm mainly updating keypoints in the m7 review):
The great:
1) the Screen: If there is this type of better screen on the phone, I haven't yet seen it. The iPhone 5s is lauded because of its excellent Screen, but at its current resolution, it trails behind the A person's screen undoubtedly. Everything just POPS out to you. even just in sunlight, things are obvious and vibrant. I truly loved the 2013 HTC A person's(M7) Screen, but once more HTC has surpassed itself and provided us with a real masterpiece in five." 1080p(440ppi) Form. By Sean D Grain on April 11, 2014 Size: 32 GB company: AT&T Color: Grey I want to preface this review by saying I owned the original AT&T HTC One (M7), and had I not dropped it and destroyed it' would be utilizing it even today. It had been my personal favorite phone I have ever owned and it had not been even close. I made the decision to wait for a discharge of the HTC One m8 and observe how it stacked facing it's elder brother or sister, and for the most part it's an iterative update to the M7. That isn't an insult, actually, thinking about how good crafted the m7 was. The m8 is definitely an outstanding device, and I'd recommend it to anybody looking for a brand new phone. Here is a introduction to my ideas on the telephone:
Overall, this is probably the one of (otherwise the) best built phones available on the market. It simply feels premium, and the brushed metal finish looks incredibly sleek. The metal finish is slightly slippery, but provides the phone an ideal fit with you. HTC made the decision to improve the telephone size from 4.7 inches to some full 5 inches, and the main difference is noticeable both in good and bad ways. The great clearly to be the extra room for that gorgeous 1080p screen, unhealthy being just a touch too lengthy, IMO. I figured 4.7 inches only agreed to be in regards to a perfect fit, especially thinking about the ability button is stationed at the very top, which makes it hard to achieve the very best when held with one hands. The perimeters are a bit more rounded compared to boxier edges from the m7, and the weight is about on par (technically slightly heavier but not noticeable). 9/10
Uses exactly the same 1080p screen since it's predecessor, that was at or presents itself its class. Still beautiful to check out, has amazing viewing angles, and is extremely vibrant. Isn't any better and no worse than some of the best smartphones, However, as QHD cell phones are coming. Read more › 6 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Nth Physician on April 11, 2014 Size: 32 GB company: AT&T Color: Gray I told myself frequently which i did not want to get this phone, but having seen it personally I needed to upgrade into it via AT&T Next. I introduced it home in the AT&T Store a couple of days ago and required a great view it when compared with my M7. There's several key variations backward and forward.
- The M8 is bigger compared to M7. Don't allow anybody let you know otherwise. It truly is bigger. It's almost unwieldy huge. My hands are reasonably large, and so i don't have any trouble with the dimensions. However, after i did return to my M7 in short amounts of time, I felt the display size was excellent.
- The ability button continues to be on the top. This is where I favor it, Honestly. Irrrve never loved the way the Universe phones use it the left side so only right-handed people can hit it easily. However, the ability button around the M8 is on the top right side rather from the left. It required me serious amounts of get accustomed to this since the power button is on the top left side around the M7.
- Searching for that headphone jack? It was once on the top around the M7, but they moved it towards the bottom near the micro USB slot around the M8. I am rather indifferent for this change, Honestly. As lengthy because the headphone jack is still effective then I am fine by using it.
- The M8 is wearing-screen buttons this time around rather from the hardware capacitive buttons in the M7. I like this transformation if there is anything I truly disliked concerning the M7, it had been the way the 3 buttons were back and home. After using other devices such as the Nexus 7, it made more sense to achieve the three buttons at the end in certain form. The M8 has them on the watch's screen like many modern Android phones.
- There is a micro SD slot. Hallelujah! Read more › 4 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. Sorry, we unsuccessful to record your election. Please try again See all 651
