Great price on a long lasting button cell
By HMMWV VINE VOICE on September 22, 2009
46 of 47 people found this review useful The 389/390 number of cells differ only in chemistry. Today, combined products are for sale to save money on model figures. In my opinion the 390 may be the silver oxide chemistry as the 389 is definitely an alkaline battery with similar dimentions. It, However, will die 10 occasions quicker than the 390.
I verified these cells are silver-oxide - concerning the most lasting formulation you'll find. They're nominally 1.55 volts consequently but this batch tested 1.62 volts.
The applying for that silver oxide chemistry is small circiuts that should run for any lengthy time having a stable current. Silver oxide will keep 1.55 volts until dead, at 1.Volts. I got myself those to switch the LOC8TOR Plus Pack brickhouse locator tabs this was running for just two years around the factory 390 cells.
Buying within the 10 pack certainly will get the price lower. My local watch shop charges exactly the same for 10 of those for any single cell.
In case your device uses the 389 or 390 cell, this is a long lasting choice for you.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 10 of 10 people found this review helpful The batteries arrived quickly (November. 2010) and are functioning. The packaging back states copyright 2004, which means they are old batteries, but they aren't. There's a couple-letter code around the back "ZC." I contacted Energizer directly in the number in Kent's posting and Customer Support explained "ZC" ensures they were created in May 2010. Additionally they explained there is a shelf existence as high as ten years and not to store these questions moist area like the freezer or refrigerator. However, Energizer's own technical bulletin on their own site provides a different shelf existence and power retained with respect to the temperature they're stored at. Shelf life of 10 years is for storage at 32 degrees F (0C) and power retention is going to be 93% in the ten year mark. 7 years is when stored at 68 degrees F (20C) and power retention is 86%. 4 years is when stored at 104 degrees F (40C) and power retention is 70%. 1 Comment Was this review useful for you? 4 of four people found this review useful I purchased these batteries from National Deals a couple of several weeks ago, and ever since then I stored getting challenge with the gps navigation receiver which i was with them in. for that longest time, I stored thinking there is a problem using the receiver. It might work after i place in new batteries, and it wouldn't. I figured maybe something was burning the batteries early, so I'd fiddle by using it, switch the batteries, and find I'd exactly the same non-responsiveness after a brief period. well, I finally made the decision to obtain my battery tester and test a completely new, from the package battery. It had been basically dead. There is enough juice to operate a couple of times, but Which was it. I authored the seller, but I've not heard away from them--meanwhile, my grief of dead batteries continues. I truly don't recommend ordering from National Deals following this experience.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 4 of 4 people found this review helpful I bought these batteries because I was always needing batteries for my hand magnifier (which utilizes 3 at any given time). I acquired these 10 for comparable cost that 2 cost at Wal-Mart. To date I've only needed to use 3 of these because they are staying longer than those that included the magnifier.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 1 of just one people found this review useful Bought these batteries for Piece of fabric watch battery replacements. Drug stores charge $4 (or even more) for just one cell and this 10 pack was a great deal. Package doesn't list an expiration date, and so i hope they aren't expired or near to expiring, but I'm with a couple batteries and timepieces will work all right.Comment Was this review useful for you?
