By Sky Guy on September 8, 2013 Item Package Quantity: 1
I personally use many of these type locks by Master and SESAMEE. They are A lot better than the actual that has gone cheap the final couple of years having a pot metal situation designed to Seem like brass but it is not. The Sesamee is solid real brass. Through the years I have had a few Master thumbwheel locks go south and they will not open. Now i purchase only the Sesamee brand.
Additionally the Sesamee includes a unique feature in which the thumb wheels if folded backwards will all visit zero. This enables someone to open the lock at nighttime by counting forward clicks. not used much but handy in certain applications.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Take advantage of R. on October 14, 2011 Item Package Quantity: 1
This can be a solid lock with a few nice features. You are able to alter the combination anytime, but you have to keep your little pin/key that is included with it. Whenever you open the lock, you are able to immediately spin the mixture... therefore the lock doesn't just sit alongside you displaying the code. It is really an awesome feature and I have never experienced by using other combination locks before. Solid construction, I'd certainly buy it can, a treadmill enjoy it, basically have additional need. It's a good deal much better than keeping keys around everywhere. Very good!
12/2012 UPDATE: Lock is constantly on the work well, and I recommend it.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Bill Bussey on April 20, 2013 Item Package Quantity: 1
When my local Lowe's store made a decision to stop transporting the Brinks Resettable Combination locks, and now only carried other brands resettable Letter (versus. number) combination locks our Parks Dept. was at a pickle. We'd several of these locks deployed utilizing the same combination to ensure that all staff could easily connect to the areas paid by the locks.
In research, these made an appearance to become like the Brinks locks. We have discovered that the Brinks/Sesamee tresses are significantly more safe from nature's elements compared to venerable Master 175 locks. We have used the Brinks/Sesamee around pier areas with little if any corrosion. The Actual 175 corroded much more within this typically wet area.
More disturbing was the actual 175 grew to become unusable in areas rich in concentrations of pine trees all around the places that the locks were deployed. This might have been from dripping pine sap, or a variety of other conditions. There appeared to become significant corrosion round the dials rendering them unturnable. We'd to chop off two locks through the years in the location encircled by pine trees.
The Brinks/Sesamee locks appear to possess a better brass coating that limits corrosion. We're happy to have discovered these locks on in a good cost. I will be getting good.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By Matt C. on September 22, 2014 Item Package Quantity: 1
I got myself this lock in my fence gate and really was impressed for that first 4 several weeks. Out of the blue I visited open the lock and my code wouldn't work. I've been utilizing the same lock code for a long time and clearly did not just "forget it" After about 20 approximately tries of spinning the figures and landing on my small code, I threw in the towel and Known as customer support.
I spoken with a Russ who did not really appear of looking after or offer much help. All he offered was which i go buy secure cutters and return the lock And when they thought it was defective they'd ship me a replacement. To begin with, getting to visit buy secure cutters, and purchase shipping will most likely require me to pay greater than the lock itself, and basically cut the lock, it would certainly be defective at that time!
He did not appear to provide any advice or care or perhaps apologize. They provide an eternity warranty and this factor broke after 4 several weeks.... and he earned me seem like a fool by asking basically was positive I had been while using correct lock key code.
like I stated, it had been an excellent lock and I had been really impressed. But this is actually the best example of why I wait a bit before I publish any reviews. The standard only agreed to be not there, and neither was the client service... Won't ever make use of this brand again.2 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Croppled1 on June 2, 2013 Item Package Quantity: 1
I like this lock . I was so tired of having to keep 1000 keys on my key ring or go hunt up keys to get into my sheds , move trailers etc . You can change your combination easily . If you move the wheels in one direction they all stop on zero so you can then count the clicks to open these in the dark . They make a marine one for about 3 dollars more that is 100% brass . Within this the significant mechanisms are brass just the hasp isn't but it is coated . I am using these outdoors with no problems . Make certain you stick to the manafacturers recommendation to make use of graphite powder only not oil and they should last forever outside . This is actually the lock most governmental and large companies use on their rural stuff that requires locks . A few guys said these are ok outdoors not to spend the extra money on the marine grade if your not near salt water . These locks do cost a bit more then other available choices but last forever . They will not keep things 100% secure but none will , they are doing establish breaking and entering certainly and keep people out that are honest or to prevent harm like for a electrical box . These are very for trailer hitches - no misplaced keys preventing trailer uncoupling or attachment . I am slowly replacing all my key locks . I love that I can have one keyed different for the garden shed so a helper can have access then it can be changed every so often . I really like will be able to make use of the same combination on everybody and keep adding as I use about 20 locks all together for my sheds , boats , cycles , trailers . Soon everyone will open with no key and the master locks I have been replacing were rusty , CRUSTY and starting to stick . To date no issues whatsoever winter or spring will update at twelve months and longer as I buy more .
Been over a year no corrosion or problems of any kind . Read more › Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. Sorry, we unsuccessful to record your election. Please try again See all 113
