Durable Scraper By Royden S. Buffington on November 18, 2010 Size: 34-Inch 44 of 44 people found this review useful For those who have a fish tank, you'll need an algae scraper. If you'll need an algae scraper, this is an excellent someone to have. It's that easy. This model includes a metal handle and the attachments attach safely. The scraper are only able to be utilized on GLASS aquariums, but the "polisher" and the "rake" may be used with acrylic tanks. If you do not know which length to obtain, obtain the longest. if you're much like me, you most likely have both hands within the tank greater than your fish like anyway. The more length also makes scraping just a little simpler because of elevated leverage. this is an excellent purchase...Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By ToneCity on May 23, 2011 Size: 34-Inch 18 of 18 people found this review useful This factor is excellent. I've got a 29gal freshwater tank and was getting trouble doing fundamental maintenance. I'd formerly obtained a scraper which was too short to work...well it was effective in keeping my sleeves totally soaked (yes short sleeves). With this particular new scraper I'm able to do maintenance before venturing out for any night around town without getting a small amount of water on me or elsewhere. All of the attachments have solid construction and feel at ease when connected to the scraper arm. The polishing tool includes a rotating mind to go into individuals difficult to achieve places and the scraper will the job with no work. The scraper is METAL so experience acrylic is really a No, No. The gravel tool is ideal for turning algae covered gravel and I make use of it to seat my plants after vacuuming. IMO for that cost you cannot fail should you possess a glass tank. If you need to acrylic tank the gravel & polishing tool may be worth the cost on their own.Comment Was this review useful for you? Please try again Aquarium glass scraper By JC on April 12, 2011 Size: 34-Inch 18 of 20 people found this review useful I have been searching everywhere for something to achieve the foot of my aquarium and have recently thought it was. This can be a strong and sturdy scraper, having a flexible blade, which surprisingly is not too sharp. However, it really works extrememly well, even on persistent coraline.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Please try again Great tool I wouldn't do without now that I have it By Thomas on December 15, 2013 Size: 22-Inch 10 of 11 people found this review useful This is among individuals stuff that I'm not sure the way i resided without for those individuals years. I lately moved and found myself tearing lower and the resetting my aquarium. I many userful stuff here in the original setup - Irrrve never really altered much once it had been in position. Probably the most frustrating areas of maintenance was scrubbing algae, and getting to stay my whole arm in to the tank to wash it. Now, using the TOM Algae Scraper, I haven't got to create a huge mess to perform a little maintenance. I'm able to easily achieve the foot of my 55 gallon-lengthy tank, despite the cover in position, and I haven't got to obtain all wet to get it done. I've only used the glass scraper at this time, but For your alone, It was an excellent purchase. like another reviewers, I initially had some concerns concerning the plastic - worried it did not feel totally substantial - but after utilizing it for a few several weeks, I'm able to express it is supporting well and really does not feel flimsy whatsoever. I suggest this to assist together with your aquarium maintenance.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Collin M Simmons on August 9, 2012 size: 34-Inch 8 of 9 people found this review useful I had been amazed at how sturdy the pole what food was in 36 inches lengthy. I had been putting a significant levered pressure onto it to be able to remove some coralline algae and it never bowed or came near to feeling enjoy it would snap. The blade attachment cleaned the coralline algae just like a champion, and overturn side from the blade has some plastic ridges which pushed off barnacles very easily from the overflow box. I've not used another two attachments, but it will likely be nice if I have to move about my sand, because my anemone keeps moving and departing craters within my sand bed! The polishing pad is very soft and works great with an acrylic tank, but I can not choose how it can help me on my small glass tank.. In situation you've got a bowfront tank, don't expect this blade to flex and form towards the curved glass, you just need to make use of the edges to obtain scrape things off. (This did not scratch my glass whatsoever.)Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By GarageBoy on August 31, 2011 Size: 22-Inch 8 of 9 people found this review useful Difficult to believe you can get looking forward to an algae scraper! After using cheap such things as sponges, Kitchen Brushes, ETC. I made the decision to obtain one. It really works great, it's not necessary to get the arms wet reaching towards the back lower corners from the aquarium, and the attachments can be simply interchanged. The swivel mind around the sponge attachment is extremely nice. Just one improvement could be adding a razor edge towards the brush mind. Just make certain you measure your tank to purchase the right size.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Benner on April 10, 2012 size: 14-Inch 5 of 5 people found this review useful I like this looking for cleaning our aquarium. It's nice not to obtain your hands within the water when scraping the glass or washing the sand. My only complaint is it could be great when the scraper rotated 90 levels either to side. There exists a bow-front aquarium and you are able to only scrap the leading glass back and forth. By trying to scrape up and down (the only method this person works) you simply scratch two lines at either finish from the blade. Overall, Not really a huge deal...Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us.
