This straightforward no drill mounting bracket causes it to be easy to set up a CB inside your TJ. Just remove two dash screws and replace all of them with the more screws provided within the package. Once that's done just install the CB and fuel up for your forthcoming trail ride!

17 of 17 people found the following review helpful Fits well with slight modifications. By Nick Ramstead on November 14, 2014 The bracket did not quite your style initially when i first attempted to set up it. The very best plate involved one inch too lengthy to obvious the gauge cluster. I finished up getting to place two bends inside it to drag the very best plate for the door. The incorporated picture shows where I needed to result in the bends. Next, they fit great. The mounts for that bracket aren't the most powerful so you will have to make use of the incorporated spongy spacers to supply extra support. Comment Was this review useful for you? By Daginni on September 13, 2012 I looked at the possibly locations for any CB Radio within my Jeep before choosing this bracket and it always looked loved it would finish track of me drilling an opening. The product may come as a god send to individuals who absolutely hate drilling holes within their jeep. It uses existing screws to mount the bracket in position, and generally does zero harm to your jeep. strong material, and helps make the radio seem like it's said to be there, rather of slapped on. The place can also be the very best place for me to put a CB Radio. Only problem I'd could be that the Holder for that Speaking device wouldn't allow me to make the original screw because it was way too short, nor the one which included the product as it didn't possess the correct threading. I merely visited a home improvement store and compared screws until I discovered an extended one.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By BrassKnuckles on November 6, 2013 I acquired this and read all the discription, The reviews, and my mental picture of the deminsions from the pic. installed fast and easy, some might require a little bit of getting about 1/8-1/4 inch around the angled for the front. And so the radio should not be a greater than 4.25 inches wide! Of all of the reviews nobody considered to consider adding this! So following this I simply went and purchased a radio to slot in that! Offered another one already so to not a complaint. And a few of you wouldn't do so bear in mind from the max width of four.25 wide.Comment Was this review useful for you? I acquired among the tiniest CB mobile radios available on the market and so i new I would not must much trouble. This mount installed rapidly and with no trouble. The enormous screws provided I believe don't need to be self tapping so you might want to open the speak compartment up simply to make certain you are not likely to damage anything.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Glen on This summer 25, 2015 Installed this having a Uniden PRO520XL CB Radio. Simply no difficulties with fitment between your door/dash/car windows and no issue with the 520 fitting in the space provided (the bracket the 520 includes fits in this mount). This is one of easiest installs (the whole CB install) I've done on my small 03 TJ. This kit also came with a CB handmike mount (that actually is not within the description) that matches between your steering column and radio/center console. Which was a pleasant surprise because it is top quality and mounts perfectly having a simple OEM screw removal. Someone pointed out inside a review they wouldn't install the handmike since it would hit their right knee...I am 6'2" and In actual practice, This can be a NON issue. I installed the antenna mount (Teraflex passenger rear brake light mount--http://amzn.com/B006D9W29Y ) around the right rear and the added bonus is that I had only about a foot of extra coax (18") after routing from the CB to antenna. I took the coax across the dash (underneath the vent cover that runs the size of the dashboard) to the right front pillar (is removed easily with 4 screws such as the passenger visor mount), went within the roll bar cover towards the rear from the passenger seat, down the vertical rollbar until I hit the right rear carpet (pulls away / reinstalls easily) until I acquired right rear from the vehicle. Once here, I installed the other end of the coax into the antenna (runs over the surface of the tailgate around the right side perfectly) and then required the additional feet approximately of coax and pressed it lower further between your carpet and right rear wheel well. Reinstalled carpeting and Which was it. The coax is hidden the whole time until it pops from the carpet and within the tailgate towards the antenna too. Comment Was this review useful for you? By Synergy Player on November 8, 2014 Fits well and Works as marketed. Body in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ would be a bit tight because the inboard fringe of the mount touches the hump within the dashboard, but It Will Fit. They offer you a bit of foam to make use of to help keep it from rubbing an opening within the vinyl cover. As you reviewer mentioned, in case your radio is any wider than 4.5" then your going to have to do some self engineering to make it (radio stations) Fit. I believe had they elevated the woking platform up only one inch you can most likely fit a typical sized radio onto it. So there's your chance, Rugged Ridge. Make another mount that's 1" taller for normal sized CBs/ The screw that included the microphone mount was too lengthy and had the incorrect thread pitch in my application, therefore, the four stars. Quality apart from the fasteners was super. I believe I'll forgo the mic mount because it places the mic lacking around the inboard side from the controls mount cover and will get when it comes to my right knee. Some Velcro will most likely work greater on that very same panel, or even better around the left hands side from the controls.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback...
