By Fishman on December 2, 2010 color: Black I've been transporting this knife within my pocket daily for more than 20 yrs. So small you do not even notice it, yet as much as just about any daily cutting job - I favor the smaller sized version towards the slightly bigger model, which my buddy in law carries. Now i own 2 - I figured my first was lost, until I observed my stepmother at our summer time cabin had 1 like the one I figured was lost. I requested where she first got it, and she stated it had been up for grabs so she place it in her own purse! So after 3 yrs. it came back to me ! Obviously, I had immediately ordered a replacement when it disappeared - it's that good ...
Pricier to hone it utilizing a electric knife sharpener created for blades - it's not big enough. Rather purchase a good whetstone - mine has 2 gemstones - 1 hard, and 1 softer for rough work. Once it's sharp ( and it comes sharp ! ) the blade holds the advantage for any lengthy time - a couple of times annually sharpening is okay if whatever you do is open boxes, and Light duty.
I have a separate small multi-tool on my small keychain for any bottle opener, and screwdriver, but Irrrve never make use of the knife - always the Buck for cutting.
As lengthy while you don't lose it, this knife can last an eternity, and it is so small you'll also have it for you.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Customer on August 10, 2009 Color: Black Buck Knives are legendary for holding an advantage and to be the very best knives on the market. period! With no group of Buck Knives exemplifies these attributes greater than the 300 Series. Tough. Sincere. practical. head to feet!
Go into the tiniest family member, the Lancer. The truth is that, I had been skeptical relating to this one. Bigger siblings, the Stockman and the Cadet, have size on their own side. What goes on when thinner, smaller sized blades are introduced towards the table? I've seen knives of this size (Of course, using their company knife makers than Buck) literally bend underneath the pressure of significant knife use.
Not too, though, with Lancer. Just as tough because the bigger people from the Buck family and I have used my Lancer in spots after i most likely must have selected a larger, longer knife. No complaints here. Lancer is evenly money and can be used such.

By John V. Pozniak on March 14, 2013 Color: Black I inherited two Buck 305 folding knives from the grandfather. They are my personal favorite knife to slide into my pocket every day. Small, Light, but come up with well so I am not scared for their services. Who knows when you are have to a knife, and these can handle 90% from the tasks you may encounter on the run: opening packages, cutting twine or small ropes, I have even used someone to cut a steak once the only other option would be a plastic butter knife. I recommend not going away from home without sliding one of these simple little knives in your wallet first.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I have been transporting money 305 for 35 years. It's small enough to keep in your pocket without alarming anybody (aside from TSA screeners.) it's handy for opening packages and letters, for tightening small screws, cutting wires and string, and the rest of the things you'll need a small penknife to complete. I have bought several much more of them through the years, but only because I have from time to time lost them--I have never damaged one. Great little Knife!Comment Was this review useful for you? I have tried personally this kind of Buck knife for several years, the only issue I've is either I lose it or loan it and it never will get came back. This really is great small pocket knife, but big enough to complete most knife tasks. I additionally, buy the same knife, except using the Rosewood finish for any spare. Buck knives would be the only knives I'll purchase.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. Sorry, we unsuccessful to record your election. By Jer on March 15, 2012 Color: Black I have transported this knife for 10+ years. It's sufficiently small that you don't even notice it's in your wallet. It looks after a great edge and is almost indestructible. I have lately lost mine...also it was like losing a classic friend!Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback...
