240 of 254 people found the following review helpful Best song selection and graphics associated with a Just Dance game to date - but the worst motion tracking since part 1
By Braden Pickering on October 10, 2013 Platform for Display: Nintendo Wii edition: Standard I have stored track of the needed Dance series right from the start, and own the majority of these to date - Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, summer time party, Finest Hits, ABBA, Michael Jackson - and now JD2014. They are not only incredibly fun, but I additionally rely on them as my primary workout regime. Actually, I have been playing them for 25 minutes or even more each day since last December and have forfeit over 45 pounds with hardly any modification to my diet. I only mention this stuff so my later criticisms seem more credible and not only the rantings of the casual player who simply can't take care of the steps or contain the controller correctly. Believe me, I understand these games thoroughly, LOL.
The Needed Dance games are among individuals rare instances in which the next within the series more often than not outdoes the final and they simply keep improving and Better. Like I stated above, I have performed these games literally each day for several months, and so i was very ready for many new variety, and JD2014 does not dissatisfy on the bottom. There's an excellent choice of new and old tracks from around the globe, some obscure and others popular, including several which are in heavy rotation around the radio at this time, like "Blurred Lines" and "Get Lucky," with some that are not balance out on CD yet, like "Applause" and "Roar." Plus, most tracks have a minumum of one - but as much as 3 - alternate modes/choreographies that may be unlocked by earning in-game mojo points. The avatars for the player card are really pretty cute, and the graphics overall tend to be more colorful and realistic than in the past. Read more › 17 Comments Was this review useful for you? By Nutwiisystem.Com on October 10, 2013 Platform for Display: Nintendo Wii edition: Standard Things I like about Just Dance 2014 isn't just that they have added some good additional features, but they have also stored what's labored from past versions.
A few of the things they have stored:
- Good motion recognition. They have been constantly improving motion recognition around the Wii since Just Dance 2, and they have nearly perfected it by finally supporting the Wii Remote Plus. It is not as precise like a Kinect or perhaps a Ps Move, but will still be excellent--should you choose the dance properly and contain the Wii remote properly, you're going to get a higher score. The Wii Remote Plus is a touch less "forgiving" compared to previous versions from the game, but as long as you use the proper technique (keep the Wii remote just like a baton with buttons facing toward you, don't twist your wrists while dancing, ETC.) you'll do fine. (I had been really believing that my Wii remote was damaged after i stored losing suggests a particular song, until my ten year old nephew used exactly the same remote and instantly got 5 stars on a single song. :P)
- Simple, fast graphics and Animation. I much prefer to try and consume a simple silhouetted figure than an excessively stylized, excessively realistic character. And That I love the spontaneity from the animators--in a few songs you may be dancing like a panda, Zombie, flower child, or ghost.
- Just Sweat mode. You are able to play 10, 20, or 40 minutes at any given time, or switch on "free mode" to count calories on any song you play throughout the game. As the second reviewer has mentioned, you cannot save playlists the first is at random generated for you personally every time. You are able to personalize the playlist every time just before exercising.
- Excellent number of different choreography for every song. Read more › 2 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Alan Ramirez on October 8, 2013 Platform for Display: Nintendo Wii edition: Standard Things I like concerning the Just Dance games, is you can exercise and have some fun simultaneously. I additionally like this all the games is definitely much better than the prior one, and JD 2014 isn't any exception!
Just Dance 2014 follows exactly the same formula because the previous Just Dance games, but With additional features. At the very first time you listen to it, you get special avatars (for those who have performed previous JD games inside your console) of figures of previous songs. The sweat mode has become more appealing, you can now pick the songs you need to play in sweat mode and not random ones, something I hated about JD4's sweat mode. Recption menus feels more organized you now choose a song, and then there are all the modes (classic mode, mash-up mode, sweat mash-up, and sometimes the Broadway version, where one individual plays the "star" from the song, and another two are backup dancers), the graphics are awesome, and the choreographies are fun (you're able to play extravagant figures, just like a panda bear in Kesha's C'Mon, or perhaps a monster within the Ghost Busters theme song)! The choreographies are not as easy this time around, but within my situation I acquired 5 stars for most songs at the very first time, if you have performed the JD games before, you might get 5 stars at the very first time too.
But the good thing of the game may be the World Party Area. You are able to play against individuals from around the globe and win suggests unlock various things.
Overall, Just Dance 2014 is going to be loved by fans from the series, and individuals who haven't performed it before too, because you don't have to be considered a ballerina to experience this, you simply need to possess the energy to get it done!
