CYCLOPS SERIUS 500 HANDHELD SPOTLIGHT
By Fishgriller TOP 1000 REVIEWER on March 5, 2013 60 of 61 people found this review useful This latest Cyclops 500 Lumen portable handheld spotlight is definitely an awesome cool product.
My home is Central Or where it will get really dark during the night, and we've many wild critters around here, around the high desert. I usually take my Cyclops beside me to determine whats up, Outdoors. It's lightweight and seamless comfort within my hands. I like being the hunter ,not the hunted ,and when I am on the road or in the field ,I put this spotlight ,within my bag being an essential, for safety and a lot more reasons. the vehicle, and home battery chargers, are also a big plus .
I give this new spotlight my highest recommendation ,for sturdiness, simplicity of use,and dependability ,because whenever you really,, really, need light ,you need a reliable product ,that won't allow you to lower, in your time of need ,for whatever your circumstances.
Pros /// Hole below of grip for leash. //10 hour burn time on low, 3 hrs on high. Rubberized water-resistant housing, Permanently grip, in almost any climate conditions. Removable red lens for individuals occasions whenever you only need some light, and don't want the world to understand. Lock On Switch, for where and When you really need light, in case your hands are busy working.
Cons /// This really is absolutely, an excellent quality product, and I find it hard to find any flaws. I've one possible suggestion, that the threaded hole for any tripod,at the end from the grip, might be a plus, for hands-free light as needed.
I hope this review is entertaining ,and helpful ,to get making an educated decision. [ FISHGRILLER APPROVED ] Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 27 of 29 people found this review useful I've one of these simple. Initially loved it but after two or three charges following a company's directions exactly, have discovered it works just OK. Sometimes charges you fully, it sometimes balks and light is out early. I initially purchased a second unit in my boy to make use of just to walk his dog during the night because there are many coyotes in area. He was known as on vacation therefore the new unit was kept in the initial packaging for any couple of several weeks. As he returned to town today, I plugged it directly into charge the system up. its dead!! no light, free. Beyond the return period. did produce a hyperlink to make contact with Energizer. Might find how which goes. My advice, purchase the 9-watt Cyclops CYC-9WS. the sunshine is equally as vibrant and I've had no issues with the kodak playtouch camcorder. That's what I am getting in my boy.
Only a follow-up note. advised me to Cyclops since i have had bought the spotlight not long ago and it had been past s return period. I told the client service repetition the CYC-500 wouldn't charge despite the fact that it's new and still in package. He stated the lights should be billed every 3 several weeks or they'll cease working. I stated the sunshine never was used or initially billed. He stated it does not matter. I stated where on outdoors of package will it tell charge unit immediately on purchase. also, where on packaging will it provide the date of manufacture and the expiration date. He'd not respond. Just stored saying they ought to be billed every 3 several weeks. Apparently caution if you purchase one that is been in stock more than 3 several weeks. May account for those who reported their spotlights unsuccessful to operate correctly. So how exactly does Cyclops be aware of store will sell a purchase in 3 several weeks? Have they got retailers return unsold units 3 several weeks following the date these were manufactured? Read more › Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 13 of 14 people found this review useful finally, before using the less effective form of this spotlight... the cyclops CYC-9WS and by using their one for more than a year quickly and easily and stellar performance ... i made the decision to do this 500 lumen version out. well, it performs just like flawlessly, has got the same comfortable feel within the hands, and is obviously more effective. what's excellent about these cyclops spotlights may be the dual hi/low modes. while in high, the three led's provide you with a very vibrant hot place having a large halo which illuminates your immediate area. the reduced mode uses 6 smaller sized led's that offer a gentle enough light to determine what you are doing whilst not blinding you. the charge time becomes manifest pretty quickly on these spotlights regardless of the manufacturer's initial 6-10 hour charge recommendation when first unpacked. i believe my personal favorite aspect may be the dual modes and the load to power ratio. often the old 6 volt incandescent spotlights were always like transporting a brick, as well as, not rechargeable. but this cyclops fits your hands perfect, and weighs barely anything inside your backpack. for those who have weak hands or wrists, just lock the spotlight trigger within the on position and carry the spotlight inverted through the handle. you may also place it on it's back sitting up and use like a lantern or distress signal in low or high. super convenient and a great deal with lots of uses in lots of situations.Comment Was this review useful for you? 10 of 11 people found this review useful This flash light claims the high beam will run for 4 hrs, and it had been only lasted for approximately fifteen minutes. With shipping this light was over $50 and is not worthwhile. I needed to transmit it to but their insurance policy for this flash light is mentioned here "For safety reasons, items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to .com." I suppose since it utilizes a battery that's considered a dangerous material. I'd be cautious ordering any flash light for this reason policy.
Bottom line is this flashlight is a piece of junk that I can't get my money back from . Later on I'll browse the find print and not order everything from which contains a dangerous material. This is the first item I was not able to return to .Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us.
