As it turned out, they labored- for a skeptic.
By B. Hamilton on December 1, 2005 Size: 1 My hubby and I continued a cruise for the honeymoon. About 1/2 an hour or so following the ship traveled the world, I grew to become quite seasick. My hubby visited the on-board store to obtain Dramamine or whatnot. These were full-scale. He introduced back the only real factor left: ocean bands. I stated "what is that this absurd Voodoo, it'll never work, and so they don't even remotely match my outfit." Both of us chuckled their way, but I had been prepared to try anything at that time, the like they went. About twenty minutes later, I had been noticeably better, and about 40 minutes later, I had been completely cured. I used them through out the trip and told anybody who even remotely looked seasick to test them. The ship ran from these, so from time to time I'd let someone borrow them for any couple of hrs or perhaps a 1/2 day....as lengthy when i understood their room number and they guaranteed To not steal these magical things from me!!! About six people 're going on another cruise this month, and we've purchased eight pairs of SeaBandsBody for everyone, An extra, and someone to hand out with a poor soul who's eco-friendly around the ship! they work, they're relatively cheap, and other product negative effects. However, I doubt they'll suit your wardrobe...however i doubt being eco-friendly from seasickness will suit your wardrobe either, so that you can choose your fashion faux-pas! ME? I'd rather look strange using the wristbands and just like a vibrant-eyed smartie instead of the best outfitted eco-friendly-faced, dull-eyed ill lady!!!!!12 Comments 354 of 379 people found this useful. by E. m. Van Court VINE VOICE on September 25, 2010 Size: 1 Initially, I had been very skeptical about Ocean-Bands it appeared a tad too Modern, hocus-pocus for me personally. But considering that over-the-counter anti-seasickness meds cause me to feel a spook, it appeared worth a go.
I had been amazed. They are just a little uncomfortable initially, but I acquired accustomed to them rapidly. While using the them, I experienced no seasickness until I acquired just a little cocky and attempted removing them. In a few minutes, I figured better of the and place them back on and the nausea removed up.
the directions are obvious, and The merchandise works well.

By Setter-Lover on August 12, 2014 Size: 1 My mother is undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma and continues to be battling severe nausea which she expected. She's 81 and is not effective in keeping anyhing lower in days...not her pills or perhaps her nausea medication. She should really avoid dehydration and take i. A minimum of 2000 calories each day. I take proper care of her durin her lower days. I had been inside my wits finish and The nausea meds (zofran) were causing immense constipation. Poor mother! Poor Me.. Hen it came to me in a flash of light ....ocean bands!!!! A couple of my coworkers used them... One for extreme morning sickness(hyperemesis) and another for severe motion sickness....both with good results.
And So I got a set of Seabands to test hem. Didn tell mother what these were for. Just use them and allow her to finish her nap. When mother automobile up.... No nausea no vomiting and the pills remained lower. 72 hours now and not anSHRED of nausea! She's eating and Consuming and her strength and spirits are soaring.
I finally told Mother what the Ocean Bands were for. She checked out me and stated,"i'm never removing them!"
Used to do research later and found two scholarly articles printed in 2 important nursing journals where cancer of the breast patients reported a reduced frequency of nausea using the Ocean Bands than without. I understand most docs poo poo alternative medicines byut please!!!! This straightforward cost-effective Method that has ZERO negative effects when compared with antinausea meds might make a significant difference to individuals on chemotherapy who fear so much or who're experiencing nausea!
try them......when they labored for Mother they might meet your needs! Thank you for letting me publish!Comment 68 of 76 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? by E. Leong on September 30, 2008 Size: 1 I am extremely prone to motion sickness, and I got myself these mainly for everyday use while carpooling with other people. It found me suggested by a relative who tried on the extender effectively on the cruise.
Pros:
- it really works! Typically, upon wearing them, within 5-ten minutes I'll all of a sudden realize I've not been nauseous shortly. It really works progressively but very rapidly. The different close buddies and family who drive me around also have noted which i tight on complaints both about being sick and regarding their driving. )
- It's preventative. You cannot expect results miracles, but if I am consistent about wearing them prior to getting inside a vehicle, I do not have any bouts of nausea.
- NO Unwanted Effects. Virtually none whatsoever.
- They are highly discreet. They are small, difficult to see whenever you put on them, and they are available in a wonderfully sized situation that's smaller sized than the usual card and under one inch thick. they weigh nothing and could be transported inside a pocket or purse.
Cons (nitpicking really, because they are fantastic):
- You cannot put on them for too lengthy. The elastic is extremely tight, for someone with really small wrists, so that they can become uncomfortable if worn for longer amounts of time. From general observations, I can ensure that it stays on for just around an hour at any given time with no break. However, after maybe fifteen minutes off, I can place them back on again and I haven't yet become ill by using this cycle.
- You cannot expect the right results in severe situations. I can sit comfortable inside a vehicle putting on Seabands. I can not however read, play game titles, or else "push my luck." They appear to operate better as prevention and not when you're already very nauseous. Read more › Comment 57 of 68 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you?
