54 of 54 people found the following review helpful Great product, Exactly what a Subwoofer must do!
By William R. Wilson on The month of january 11, 2007 The product is everything I've always wanted a subwoofer to become. I've had several subwoofers within my home entertainment and my cars and I had been always searching for that felt bass greater than the heard bass. It always appears when you switch a subwoofer up loud enough to feel it, it can make your ears ring. The product enables you to definitely have the bass, with no excessive noise and ear ringing. I'm while using bass shaker within my home entertainment, under my couch, plus a seperate subwoofer and they create an excellent combination. Advertising media are it combined with the subwoofer, it really methods the mind and body into thinking the sub is producing the felt bass (as lengthy while you calibrate the 2 correctly, which isn't difficult). As awesome being an effect because this product offers, I'm surprised that bass shakers aren't much more of a mainstream home entertainmentOrvehicle stereo product.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Edward Lamaide on Feb 25, 2010 I anxiously waited a lengthy time for you to purchase these thinking it had been just a little silly.
Well my curiosity finally got the very best of me and I purchased a couple of them in my couch. I'm able to state that Irrrve never wish to see a movie without these again. It adds a lot for your movie experience. If you watch the transformers it feels like ripping using your house it's awsome!!!
There is a very deep rumble feel for them which goes together with your subwoofer therefore it methods you into thinking it's originating from your loudspeakers. If you didn't tell anybody that they are inside your seats individuals will imagine you will find the most intense bass they've heard out of your loudspeakers. This has to be among the best theater upgrades I've ever done.
To power them I'm utilizing an Audiosource amp100 it really works ideal for this.
So you just need a splitter to separate your subwoofer output out of your receiver go to your power amp and from that towards the Aura bass shakers and you will be in the middle of a war zone :)3 Comments Was this review useful for you? by J. Leigh on This summer 7, 2009 I attached one of these simple to some Playseat and drove it using the Dayton 100W Subwoofer Amp from PartsExpress.
generally, it will certainly give a noticeable way of measuring realism to racing sim cards and in a cost point reduced compared to Buttkicker- though I must provide the buttkicker credit to be wireless. I believe with the addition of the vibration to some racing seat gives greater purpose to some seat apart from only for ergonomic reasons.
Among the nice features concerning the xbox 360 console is it may also provide optical audio output while concurrently supplying analog audio out. Therefore it was rather simple of departing the optical audio linked to my existing home surround seem system, and then connecting the analog output towards the Dayton's RCA input connectors.
Alternatively you may also go ahead and take subwoofer creation of your surround seem amp, feed it in to the Dayton amplifier and then possess the go through connection return to the your surround system's subwoofer. this really is most likely what you must do if you are using a PS3.
Lastly you are taking the subwoofer output at the rear of the Dayton amplifier and feed that in to the Aura.
Around the Dayton, turn the gain to simply over the middle and turn frequency dial lower to around 1/3 and you need to get rumbles from Forza 2 and Race Pro. The seat will shake mildly while you drive and Brake and considerably while you drive within the rumble strips. If you would like the rumbling to become more frequent, you are able to turn the regularity dial around the Dayton up just a little and it'll trigger on slightly greater frequencies too- such as the engine noise. The issue with carrying this out is the fact that at the outset of a race you'll have the rumble of not only your personal car's engine but those of the neighboring ones too. By ampgreen on August 3, 2010
I purchased both this Aura Pro bass shaker along with the Buttkicker gamer ButtKicker BK-GR Gamer bass shaker simultaneously. I really used the Buttkicker amp to temporarily power the Aura Pro, with higher effect.
The Aura Pro doesn't shake as forcefully like a Buttkicker, but it will a great job your money can buy.
It really does a more satisfactory job compared to Butttkicker with music, greatly enhancing the "feel" of low
bass when used with an above average subwoofer. Only a hint of additional rumble, adjusted so the bass shaker doesn't call focus on itself like a separate entity, greatly improves the music.
for movies and videogames it will an excellent job too.
I merely used four screws to connect it towards the lower center back part of my couches wooden frame.
Then attach speaker wire to it just like you would any speaker (preferably from the subwoofer amp and the subwoofer output out of your receiver) , and you're set, inexpensively.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Daryn on The month of january 26, 2009
For those who have a house theater, mount some or a couple of these inside your coach. You will be able to lower the volume of your sub (IE. save your valuable hearing) while still feeling the rumbling all of us crave. Utilizing a parametric eq to smooth the regularity response, particularly the 40hz resonance peak, can make these an excellent accessory for any theater.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Geebet Parker on This summer 29, 2012
I installed two Bass Shakers (set up in a 2001 Celica) running in series in a 2 ohm load they go just like a champion. I did previously run two 12" JL subs but getting these set up in both driver and passenger seat it's eliminated the requirement for them and now all I am running may be the two Bass Shakers having a 10" Rockford Fosgate. Absolutely amazing!!! 1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us.
