6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Best fluid you'll likely ever use
By NotSteve on This summer 26, 2010 Have you ever had the unnerving experience with getting your brake pedal hit the ground since your brake fluid is boiling, you'll really appreciate RBF600. I have tried on the extender for a long time, and wouldn't use other things in almost any of my vehicles. Its wet boiling reason for 420F surpasses other things you will find. The only real bad thing is that they like many ultra-premium brake fluids, it's very hygroscopic (moisture-absorbing) so you've to alter it regularly to avoid corrosion inside your brake system. But that is a small inconvenience, thinking about its benefits.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I got myself the RBF 600 like a substitute in my OEM fluid before a track day event @ Laguna Seca. Following a full day's laps, Here's the conclusion: my pads were smoking (EBC yellows), but irrrve never lost feel, experienced fade or perhaps a spongy pedal. Also observe that my vehicle has ended 4,000lbs... My next flush is going to be with RBF 600.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Eric John Myers on Feb 24, 2014 Great product but wet boiling point is not related to rain as mentioned within the description. More details on contaminated brake fluid with water since its hydroscopic. The product description must be remedied.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I am by using this brake fluid within an endurance race vehicle. Great brake performance with the whole associated with a race is essential. We lately ran two 7-hour races in 2 days. The brake fluid performed just like it ought to - no issues. We are not really venting any exterior air to awesome the brakes and we didn't have any issues. An email about bleeding your brakes, I'd suggest putting on some rubber shop mitts, this fluid is fairly reactive - it made may skin really warm if this arrived to connection with me.
If you are likely to completely purge your whole system from the old fluid you've, you'll need at least 3 of these (within the size I got myself). 4 safe. The vehicle I'm by using this on is really a BMW e30.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. Highly suggested for race or track bikes which are exposed to numerous braking. I run at Road America where I achieve 160 miles per hour in 3 different straights per lap. Braking climate is wicked there and RBF600 may be the only fluid I trust.
This kind of fluid must be altered at least one time each year, because it degrades faster. As a result, I do not recommend it for street riders that do not need this sort of defense against heat.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... is one thing you ignore til you have trouble with it. Motul RBF 600's greater wet and dry boiling points turn it into a far better fluid within the mountain tops where brakes are utilized frequently and continuously or in the track. That's where this fluid excels.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. I have used this formerly with an 03 WRX and let's focus on my 06 WRX. I have didn't have any issues and in comparison to some forums which mentioned it burns out a bit over time, well irrrve never needed to refill my 03 WRX for a long time before i offered it.Comment Was this review useful for you?
