By DeP on April 24, 2009 A great little product which does just what it states. However, the batteries only lasted for around 6 several weeks. Now, when the power is out or if they're unplugged for a flash light they simply go dead. They aren't an costly night light!
also, you can only really use these in the vertical position (As proven within the photos) in case your electrical plugs are vertical and the system covers both plugs.5 Comments Was this review useful for you? By Bob on August 18, 2010 We purchased as many as 16 units and within six several weeks eight of these had stopped to operate whatsoever, three would only work when plugged in (the rechargeable batteries stopped to carry charge) and others were came back new. A 50% + failure rate is indeed a quality issue. Don't purchase, because they will definitely become non operational before annually expires!!!!!!!!!!!!!2 Comments Was this review useful for you? by C. s. Ribner on The month of january 11, 2010 I purchased 3 of these (3pack) and am quite disappointed using the product(s). From the 3 you will not charge being an emergency flash light but Can be used a evening light, another does not switch off when there's sufficient background light. The night time light is way to vibrant and the fixture while in place prevents while using second outlet port. Maybe I am spoiled through the nightlight which i purchased over ten years ago that labored until quite lately. I certainly wouldn't purchase them again because there appear to become much better selections for comparable cost..Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Ray & Patty Ives on This summer 24, 2010 I got myself a number of Sylvania's night lights and thought these were great before the batteries grew to become weak and Died. I discovered it nearly impossible to disasemble the sunshine but I finnally broke it to determine in which the batteries were. The main one battery is soldered in position but it's not designed to switch the battery. it's nice but it won't last lengthy if you cannot alter the rechargable battery. This really is wrong.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By PHANRANG KID on This summer 31, 2010 Purchased 9 of those in 2007 and plugged them in all around the house. We'd an electrical failure a week ago that lasted for many hrs. 5 from the 9 Didn't Work On ALL. Ok as night lights but not so dependable for power failure lights. Under a 3 year durability may not be much thinking about the price. Very disappointing. (I've got a handful of another type which i bought in the 1980's and while not Brought, they still labored!) I'll search for another brand.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By Movie Man on April 10, 2007
Like a power failure light, The product is great. Nevertheless the attached "night light" is a lot too vibrant for any night light. I needed to used colored tape to pay for the bulb housing to dim the sunshine some. otherwise, An excellent product.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... by l. Harris on June 3, 2007 I've three of those and I really like them. The flash light is of the helpful brightness and the emergency light aspect is definitely worth the weight in gold next time my power is out during the night. I seemed to be searching of these with no success. Regrettably I did not locate them until a couple of days after our power went for five hrs another night and they could have been really handy. :( My neighbor has some and he stated the flashlights ran whole time the ability was out with no problem.
The night time light might be too vibrant for Movie Man, but I believe it is simply right. The plug isn't polarized, so that you can point the night time light portion up or lower, and I actually do both. Up in the kitchen area and master bathroom, and lower within the hall. The main one within the hall is ideal for illuminating the hall during the night and so i don't have to switch on the sunshine simply to walk lower the hall.
Absolutely a 5-star product for me.
Cost tip: They are just a little cheaper at Wally World and my neighbor states she got a 3-pack for less per light at Sam's Club.1 Comment Was this review useful for you?
