Great Rain Suits!
By Brenda G. On August 23, 2013 Size: Large Color: Black/Black
I purchased two Nelson-Rigg Stormrider Rain Suits, one for me personally and one in my husband. I was riding from Denver to Sturgis and wanted a rain suit that people could placed on rapidly in case we wanted them. I made use of mine four or five occasions throughout the trip and our remain in Sturgis. It labored out great each time! I ordered a large for me to make sure the legs were long enough (I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs with more than average legs). The pants were lengthy enough and the jacket was big, but fit over jeans and leathers and so i believe that would be a plus. My hubby normally wears a sizable, but I got myself an additional large for him and again, it labored out well going a size-up. I'd recommend the product. The rain suits happen to be packed away for next year's trip.Comment 39 of 40 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... It's anti-rain voodo which will keep the ride dry.

Before my annual trip this season, I made the decision to interrupt lower and buy myself some proper rain gear rather of counting on my leathers. I selected that one virtually because I am impatient and it had been the first I saw. Normally, when riding from Florida towards the Midwest, you are likely to hit rain here and There. The whole in place and completely back lower to Georgia, I didn't hit a small amount of rain. At that time, I believed this rainsuit and it's anti-rain voodoo were among the best investments I have available. But alas, my luck had go out and I hit a fairly nasty storm in Georgia. I placed on my new gear that I'd hauled around for 3000 miles and drove in it. The only real factor that got wet was my hands and My Boots. Getting used to riding through storms in only chaps and a leather jacket, it had been very refreshing not receiving the crotch filled with water and the trickles running lower my neck. The jacket was lengthy enough to pay for my rear finish and the collar emerged sufficient not to leave anything uncovered under my full-face helmet. I consider myself a size Medium, but chosen the big when i wanted it to suit over my leathers. I am 5' 9" and the pants fit perfectly over my chaps. The jacket also fit perfectly. It's loose with no leather underneath, but it does not flap within the wind. that was nice. I'd certainly reccomend this to anybody. it's well worth the money.Comment 16 of 16 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... **This review concentrates on body. I've not yet ridden while it is raining. I'll update my publish after I have really road tested the suit.**
Let us begin by supplying you my size. I am 5-10" and weigh about 165 lbs.
I purchased a sizable, and I love the general fit. The pants fit well. There is a zipper at the base from the legs enabling you to easily slide the pants on over your boots. Likely to rubber band which goes underneath the boot, holding the pants lower. Pants are spacious enough to put on over chaps, ETC. but not too large that I am swimming inside them.
The coat sleeves also fit perfectly. the leading zips, having a 2-layer storm flap that seals with velcro. I'm confident that it'll keep your rain out. The neck and sleeves are highly adjustable and hold in position with velcro. There's a hideaway hood underneath the collar. The coat includes a wide rubber band at waist level, which will help have a reasonably comfortable fit for warmer weather riding, but enables room for expansion if you wish to put on a leather coat underneath. I estimate the elastic expands six inches approximately. Additionally there is a drawstring at the end from the coat, allowing further waterproofing. I put on head gear, so I didn't take out the hood and cannot speak regarding the way it works.

I have ridden several occasions while it is raining since my original review, and all I'm able to have to say is *cause the rain!* Before now, I wouldn't ride when the forecast demonstrated a 40% possibility of rain or even more. Now, I'll ride even when it's guaranteed rain. The suit keeps me totally dry. Who understood that riding while it is raining might be a lot fun. Having a rain suit has completely revolutionized my riding habits. To any extent further, I will be putting a lot more miles on my small bike each year.
I also purchased the Nelson Rigg WPRB100-2 Rain Boot Covers (Size Medium). I put on a size 8 boot, and these boot covers fit well and keep my ft dry and Cozy.Comment 20 of 21 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Dill Pickles on September 25, 2014 Size: X-Large Color: Black/Black Here's what you are searching for: I'm 6'2 and 220 Pounds. I've got a belly. The XL size fits perfectly.
Okay, so here's more detail. The pants fit my lengthy legs great, the small shoe strap factor is a fairly touch and keeps your socks dry, the waist fits great and has enough stretch.
The coat is fairly open within the arms, which makes it type of hard to see behind me within my mirrors, but straps round the wrists keep wind from turning you right into a balloon. the zips and Everything feels very sturdy. Even the jacket stretches enough where if I am putting on a backpack I really just place the coat on regarding this! I most likely look absurd but It keeps me and my backpack totally dry.
I suggest this rain suit, and if you're throughout my sizes, I certainly recommend the XL size.Comment 9 of 10 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Purchased some this rain gear for a vacation to Michigan's Upper Peninsula on my small RoadKing. I favor no car windows or backrest, I understand its difficult to become hard l0l. ANYWAYS, typical June weather 55 levels and flowing lower rain. This suit offered protection and was worth the cost even when I only tried on the extender that certain time. It organized perfectly and put away nicely for the following trip.1 Comment 5 of 5 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... is effective! My home is florida and we obtain lots of rain within the summer time. I ride daily and I have been dry each time I put on this rain suit. I am extremely pleased. Great rain suit for inexpensive. Gotta let it air out (outdoors of the home) for a few days when you initially receive it though. The factory chemicals / solvents are overpowering for that initial few days. inexpensive, lightweight, Highly suggested.Comment 9 of 11 people found this useful. Was this review useful for you?
