3 of 3 people found the following review helpful incredible glue for vinyl convertible tops
By Earth Pilot on October 6, 2013 I attempted every spray glue there is in your own home depot and lowes to connect new vinyl within the old vinyl on my small vehicle convertible top.
ALL OTHER GLUES FAILED AND SEPARATED on the first day in heat (its a black top)
These items holds solid.
it's very strong and Holds. it really appears to kind of melt that old and new vinyl together.
I attempted the 3 of 3m sprays or even the yellow one out of both spray and Tube. All of them switched into goo the very first day when the vehicle was leftout under the sun and really were very difficult to leave once on and they didnt hold. these were like gum.
These things are the only real factor that really held that I've discovered anyway.
It stays flexible yet is super strong.
It is perfect for sails and it holds.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. By S M Heath on March 18, 2013
it had been exactly what I was expecting, It came well packaged like a flammable substance that it's should.
It came at the time they stated it might.
I made use of it as being a much less costly vinyl sealant and patch cement for that vinyl sides on my small pop top camper.
The repair has not been in lengthy enough that i can say how permanent it's It appears to become a little thinner compared to Costly vinyl and leather repair kits have within the small tube that you will get just one of within the kits but it appears in my experience that's same substance, somewhat less viscus.
Overall, when compared to small tubes within the repair kits, as long as you don't have to use either the coloring and or even the texture pads which comes within the kits, the cost for that adhesive is way under it's should you make use of the glue/filler from kits to complete large repairs or fill lengthy seams.
I still need have some a lot of thin patch material to complete more repairs with a weak areas, holes and tears but the patch Used to do today held better using the HH-66 vinyl cement is bigger patch compared to tubes within the kits do due to the fact I possibly could make use of the cloth only patch in one of individuals kits and soak it finished the HH-66 vinyl cement before using it the torn vinyl pop top camper siding so it is now a really waterproof and strong patched area of the reinforced vinyl siding.Comment Was this review useful for you? By janet on November 16, 2013
To date it has labored great to correct a tear within my automatic pool cover. I made use of a scrap of durable tarp and then applied patches when needed while using incorporated brush. It dried fast and has not torn again yet. Wishing to simply extend the existence from the cover another year, so only a temporary fix.Comment Was this review useful for you?
