5 of 7 people found the following review helpful package was short the mentioned count of rods.
By Kimberly Ross on December 10, 2013
I've used similar (although bigger) borate products before and had fantastic results. I personally use these to prevent log colums on log home decks from rotting in the base. It's too soon to find out if the product works just like others, but is suspect it'll. The reduced rating is because of the fact the package only contained 11, not the mentioned 12 rods. These little buggers are costly enough without getting short altered around the count too.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By BrooklynConsumer on September 1, 2015 I've an arbor made from untreated wood and the bases on many are rotting because of water exposure and happen to be searching into these kind of rods. I had been interested in the main difference between BOR 8 Rods and cobra rods, and, in line with the MSDS labels for every, the components won't be the same. The BOR 8 Rods contain only borate the Cobra Rods contain borate and copper sulfate, and the second allegedly boosts the rod's capability to kill fungi.
