4 of four people found this review useful I personally use it to manage all individuals little power transformers within my network closet. I personally use individuals little 12" electrical cords so the transformer brick shapes don't hinder each other or any other outlets. I really like it! Simple to turn offOron any one of individuals devices.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. 1 of just one people found this review useful I personally use this inside a special setup to manage capacity to 8 different studio monitors. 6 of these monitors are mounted up on the wall in a special array (they work as "pipes" in my digital pipe organ running hauptwerk) and due to the way they are mounted, I could not easily turn them off or on. Now, I merely flick these switches and my whole wall of loudspeakers may come on in succession without having to put an excessive amount of strain all at one time around the outlet. I'll include which i was getting a ground loop / AC hum. Unsure which. In either case, the built-in filtering has practically extinguished the hum altogether.Comment Was this review useful for you? Non US customers: Remember to buy appropriate pin adaptors
By Rony Mathew Manappallil on This summer 22, 2015 Style Name: With Power Switches
Great product with the objective I had been searching for...Not comparable up to the more professional Furman Power Conditioners, but certainly a neat, sturdy & novelty method to manage your rack power distribution. Does some descent EMI & RFI cleaning though. Remember that the power dissipation is just 150 Joules that is relatively low to resist heavy surges this unit might become sacrificial. So keep disconnected in situation of continuous heavy surges & during stormy weather!....
Keep in mind the real panel power outlets are Type B American outlets. So if you're ordering from Asia, Europe or any other country which uses any other type of power pins than the Type A or Type B (US standard), please make sure that you search & buy 9 pieces of Type B to Type 'X' (X=Your Pin Type) pin adapters from your local store (or order together from amazon . com).
Certainly a worth buy and the unit could be used universally (With appropriate pin adapters)Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Aaron M. Pool on August 21, 2015 Style Name: Power Strip
Electrically this power strip works fine. However the mounting ears which are built to the front panel from the power strip are thin and both were bent around the unit I received. The metal is really thin it had become simple to unbend the mounting ears. The unmodified power strip also had the mounting holes spaced too near to one another and would only allow one screw on every finish for use to mount it to rack rails with standard spacing To use both holes on every finish to mount it, I needed to make use of a metal file to slightly enlarge the mounting holes.
If you are prepared to spend some effort in straightening the bent mounting ears and possibly slightly enlarging the mounting holes, the system should meet your needs.Comment Was this review useful for you? by J. Hilson on March 19, 2015 Style Name: With Power Switches
Mine included four rubber ft which were each locked in having a Phillips mind screw that threaded right into a drawn on hole towards the bottom. Simple to remove for rack mounting or leave on for stacking along with other equipment. Unlike reports about other units, that one matches a rack and has got the correct type of screws for that top and bottom to help keep it inside the 1-3/4" height of merely one rack space. Additionally, it has some power protection and filtering unlike cheaper units and a front mounted 15A circuit breaker for overload protection.
it really works and I'd buy the kodak playtouch camcorder again basically had the requirement for a switched outlet system inside a rack.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Travis Molony on March 14, 2015 Style Name: Power Strip
The reviewer that pointed out this Pyle PDBC50's mounting holes don't fall into line was correct. Although in a rackmount case the most important bolts are the two bottom ones (that fall into line!), therefore it is not really a huge issue. Still, with this particular comes imperfection. Four Stars!
Includes rubber ft that may be unscrewed and removed. A minimum of I really hope they may be unscrewed. It did not mention I could not within the manual. After taking out the ft the system did not break apart and there is nothing audibly rattling inside, and so i assume the screws were not structural and were just designed to attach the ft.Comment Was this review useful for you?
