44 of 45 people found the following review helpful Brightly colored plastic, unlike picture of wooden branch
By Customer on September 19, 2010 color: Assorted
In the photo, I figured I had been buying a bit of Cholla wood, but once the product showed up it had been plastic, and colored an very garish vibrant shade of blue.
Although I had been worried the paint would nick and be toxic, I place the climbing piece inside anyway and my hermit crabs loved climbing onto it. But on a single of my periodic inspections barely per month later, I observed the paint was basically chipping off, so it's been removed and tossed out.
caution, the associated photo of the product is a nice serious misrepresentation. If you're worried about your crabs' health, do not buy this toxic bit of trash. I suggest purchasing a *real* bit of Cholla wood from the pet shop, or from the reliable online hermit crab supply source, since my crabs did love climbing up and lower this.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? This can be a bit of blue plastic designed to seem like cholla wood. Nowhere is even rubbing off within the package.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By zonlyone on August 7, 2012 Color: Assorted
I realize it states assorted colors, but The image is extremely deceiving and leads you to definitely believe you will get a pleasant wood climbing branch. However, you have a plastic vibrant colored tube with holes. it's heavy and thick unlike real drift wood. The colour looks awful for me. The plastic appears too slippery for that crabs to grip, and this was after I put them on it myself (given that they wouldn't utilize it). They did not appear very comfortable onto it quite simply and just did not enjoy it.
read and HEED the reviews is the greatest advice I'm able to give about this product.
Overall: A really abnormal product of these little guys. Not good for that crabs and looks gaudy, Save your valuable money and buy real wood or find it on your own (ensuring it's appropriate for crabs obviously).
Best of luck!Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. Sorry, we unsuccessful to record your election. Please try again 9 of 11 people found the following review helpful CHEAP!!!

It's not what I figured it might be whatsoever. It's a bit of ugly eco-friendly colored plastic! Do not buy this unless of course you do not mind some cheap bit of plastic.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Lisa Mullen on March 9, 2015 Color: Assorted Great climbing stick but It tips more than a lot and it ought to be on the tank. if it's not inside a corner or somewhere with things on each side your crabs might tip it over. you may also utilize it like a ladder to get involved with another level or on the top of the Hut.Comment Was this review useful for you? Our two crabs have little interest in climbing about this little fake branch. I am unsure they are doing anything aside from hide, though!Comment Was this review useful for you?
