26 of 26 people found the following review helpful I wear these on my bicycle for 50+ mile rides
By Alice Winter on December 12, 2010 Size: One Size Fits Most Sometimes inside a lab, and I also ride a bike :) Whenever we went for any ride on the cold and dry day, I desired something to safeguard my eyes in the wind. I did not have cycling glasses, and so i just grabbed my lab safety glasses, and they work great!! I got myself my very own obvious and shaded glasses, and I believe they are the very best factor ever. I have gone on 50+ mile rides using these. Cycling glasses typically cost a minimum of $40 some, and the pricy ones are gone $100. Sure, the fancy glasses probably have better ventilation (on really damp mornings when I am working up a sweat, the AO glasses do fog a little, but it's often not too big of the deal). also, granted, I have never really used *real* cycling glasses because they are so costly. The AO safety glasses cost 70-90% less, and Basically crash and break them, it does not cost much to simply buy another pair. also, since the lenses cover, my peripheral vision is unobstructed and uniform with the remainder of my vision. That's an issue for me personally, particularly if I have to watch out for traffic. It bothers us a lot after i can't use my peripheral vision since the glasses frame is incorporated in the way. Not too using these. also, regarding appearance, the shaded glasses look wonderful, and the obvious glasses aren't even that noticeable. Since the obvious glasses are obvious plastic, someone has to check out you close up to inform you have them on. When it comes to comfort, I frequently forget that I am even putting on them, which may be also the situation basically used them within the lab for any full workday. BRAVO. Basically break them, I am buying more.
Incidentally, within the spirit of eye protection, everybody must always put on some type of glasses when mowing the lawn, even on short rides. I learned this hard way when a bit of debris scratched my cornea. Not really a enjoyable experience. Now I put on these glasses each time I actually do my 1.5-mile commute.3 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... by David D. Shin on August 27, 2012 size: One Size Fits Most
Have no idea whether it has Ultra violet protection, but they are light and comfortable, and Simple to clean.
Pretty good for that cost.
7-2-13 Update:
After receiving multiple demands if these glasses have Ultra violet protection, I asked with 3M directly. It will have Ultra violet protection.
Here's their comment: Appreciate contacting 3M, regarding safety eyewear. 3M safety eyewear with polycarbonate lenses absorb 99.9% UVA and UVB as much as 380 nm.

By Justin B. On May 14, 2012 size: One Size Fits Most
I really had pretty low expectations of these after i bought them. I simply purchased a mitre saw, and I desired something for eye protection. they are lightweight and most likely probably the most comfortable safety glasses I have ever warn. I feel like they would protect my eyes against a significant (although not catastrophic) Impact, and they're very obvious. The tint is mild, but Effective. They've exceeded virtually ever expectation I'd on their behalf. They have are also available in pretty handy for doing yard use the trimmer and chainsaw on vibrant days.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By MP06011999 on August 3, 2013 Size: One Size Fits Most
Been buying these for a long time inside my local home store for around 8 dollars. This type of better cost here. The grey ones really are a tad bit more dark compared to crimson ones. Both of them are robust and are designed for several drops. People cannot call at your eyes either in the grey or crimson. The arms Don't scratch the lenses when folded. They're lightweight and wrap nicely around the face to bar the sun's rays without providing you with a frame to draw attention away from you. Much better compared to $5 cost tag would indicate.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. BAD Towards The BONE, these proper ppe eyewear are. Super light and stylish to put on even outdoors of labor. I perform a large amount of activities and these super light glasses remain on my face, from digging holes as the apprentice is cleaning to doin it within the mountain tops. They can fit just like a glove with no uncomfortable pressure around the mind.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Chris Stratford on September 24, 2012 size: One Size Fits Most
I truly love these safety glasses since they're very affordable, Fairly durable, come tinted or obvious, and my preferred feature is the fact that there's no frame so they provide you with a great field of view without any obstructions when you're really doing detailed work. They are meant to come with an anti scratch coating but still appear to scratch fairly easily but For that cost and features it doesn't dissuade me from purchasing these glasses. Fundamental essentials originals that was once produced by AO Safety and are actually produced by 3M. I've purchased other brands of the identical type and the normal problem I've had using the other forms is they break in the nose bridge so don't accept imitations.Comment Was this review useful for you? so great! I utilize them for putting on on my small motorcycle and they can fit wonderfully as i put on my helmet. I have worn them for many hrs at any given time without feeling any discomfort throughout my ears due to the helmet's padding. The lenses are quality, the quantity of tint is excellent, and I forget I am putting on them. Because they are so affordable, I haven't got to baby them or feel terrible if something would occur to them. Certainly suggested for motorcyclists!Comment Was this review useful for you? For just a few dollars, they are unequalled. I would not have confidence in them to safeguard your retinas in the suns sun rays, but for implementing the miter saw or nailing, They're great. Mine came obvious in error I suppose, but the glasses overlap with the tinted ones. I simply don't look as awesome. There is a comfortable fit and some style.Comment Was this review useful for you?
