This is among numerous made-in-the-USA Buck knives. It's a convenient two-blade pocket knife that will assist you well. It's sharp, includes a tight tolerance on finish, and Button snaps open and closed with apparent focus on machining standards. This is among individuals rare products still on the domestic market. Your great-grandchildren will covet these pocketknives as rare goods a century from now among the couple of remaining types of quality American craftsmanship. For the time being, this knife can serve as an readily available favorite tool through the family room chair to carve my evening apple or pear as you're watching TV.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Michael S. Goldfarb on September 26, 2010 color: Black
This little beauty is well named: a companion indeed! Sufficiently small to visit practically undetected inside a jeans pocket, but sharp and tough enough to deal with an array of little cutting jobs.
It's nicely made and rather elegant: the black plastic (with diagonal striations for any sure grip) and stainless bolsters and interior are simply classic. Both blades are extremely sharp as they are, and the slipjoint action is perfectly solid and feels right. And it is certainly a good cost to have an American-made product within this day and Age.
I'll certainly be transporting this knife virtually constantly!
(Note: the merchandise description is wrong: the clip point blade is 2 " lengthy, NOT 1-1/8.)Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. By Desert Dog on This summer 20, 2014 Color: Rosewood
I believe this can be a truly handsome knife. The wood is both enjoyable to deal with and supplies a good grip. It's, Obviously, a little knife ideal for pocket carry even just in dress slacks. If I recall correctly it is about one quarter of an inch longer (Closed) compared to little 2 blade Situation. The blades are snug without any wobble and snap closed or open nicely. An excellent small knife for EDC. Fit and finish are first class and it showed up quite sharp using the brass being polished so nicely one friend think it is gold as he first viewed it.Comment Was this review useful for you? The pin in the heart of check your grip would be a bit proud somewhere, but a couple of seconds having a small hands grinder work flush. exactly what I want for everyday use.Comment Was this review useful for you? Since I Have remember, my dad always transported this exact knife. Well after several recent hospital journeys and occurrences his pocket knife went missing. He was baffled not getting it in the pocket and it had been and is still no where found.
so, for fathers day I purchased him this very knife. After I known as him I figured he would jump with the phone from 2000+ miles away he am happy.
This can be a real Buck knife, so nothing cheap about this. It will last forever (unless of course it will get taken, lost or walks away). Very durable, sharp, Stays sharp. this is one way to visit. Knives such as this will always be around since i have would be a baby and before, this really is what required out every splinter, removed tags in the just bought item I could not wait to put on and needed now. Opened up Christmas presents early Christmas morning. Take your pick this knife made it happen.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. Case the knife I have to take with you within my pocket constantly. I've bigger ones which are always an encumbrance to hold. I'm always mindful of them finding yourself in my pockets. That one fits more. I'm able to clip onto my pocket or belt after i visit the wilds but I am a real city boy in mind and need this smaller sized knife for more often than not.Comment Was this review useful for you?
