Product Description

Increase your triathlon experience by pairing HRM-Tri with Forerunner 920XT. Stores heartbeat data when underwater, then forwards it towards the 920XT. Garmin's tiniest and lightest module fits inside the width from the strap. Soft, rounded edges and covered seams result in the strap super-comfortable from the water, too. Forerunning, provides feedback on running form (Pedal rotation, Vertical oscillation and ground contact time). Able to storing as much as 20 hrs of heartbeat data.

By Jose on September 17, 2015 The HR does not focus on while swimming.
I contacted support and awaiting a solution.
update: Customer Care authored me in under 24 hrs saying that although swimming I won't be able to determine the center rate data. ANT+ is not sufficiently strong to deliver through water. The HRM-TRI will record the information heartbeat whilst in the water and transfer that data towards the watch after i save the game. This is exactly why the center rate icon does not show connected.
UPDATE 9-26-15: You will find frequent failures as the information is transmitted to the timepiece after saving the swimming workout.
I compare a running workout between your original HRM monitor and the Tri and There's a large difference. Readings around the Tri are way lower. I am likely to contact Garmin again to send it back.2 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us.
