A Great Pool Toy with a couple of issues
by R. Brasher on May 7, 2007
33 of 37 people found this review useful Bryce's Gramma sent him this little boat knowing there exists a pool and that inflatables just don't last. This boat is excellent!! He sits low enough within the seat he can't switch over and might have great difficulty crawling out. The seat has four adjustment levels. Bryce is 30" tall and uses level two. In my opinion he can make use of this for any lengthy time...
Why don't you 5 stars?
1. Set up - Whilst not difficult, I am unhappy with getting to use stickers, that is what all the adornments included are. Stickers in water?? Wondering how lengthy they'll last. We'll most likely finish up drawing a face on once the stickers disappear.
2. The horn, that was intended as preassembled, came lounging towards the bottom from the box. After one day's use, I have needed to reinstall the horn 3 occasions. NOT always easy because of the tight fit. Must be glued in position basically can learn how to glue using the tight squeeze. update: Have attempted a number of different glues, routinely without success. Horn won't remain in.
3. The cover falls into the water. I flipped it over to try and put more tension in it. Now, searching in the photo provided, it appears as though they've already altered the actual way it attaches. Tomorrow I intend to really shorten the "ropes" that are utilized to attach the cover towards the boat. It you consider the customer photos I provided, I designed a note on a single as one example of.
Despite these couple of issues, Personally i think this boat is worth the money. Knowing the number of inflatables kids will go through in a single summer time, this really is so worthwhile! 1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... 8 of 8 people found this review useful This is an excellent product, but everything concerning the shade individuals have been complaining about holds true. I do not know the way the plastic fishing rod is suppose to slot in the notched hole they offer included. I heated the fishing rod... a tad too much it is extremely shaky, I'll have to place a rubberband or something like that around it to create more snug...my grand son loves it to date though and Is effective. 1 Comment Was this review useful for you? 7 of 8 people found this review useful We'd one of these simple years back for the first child. Gave that certain away as he outgrew it, and with the appearance of our second, we'd to obtain a different one. These work so a lot better than the "pop up" or inflatable motorboats which for all of us tended to tip and tear more frequently. Our children were always active within the pool and this boat is extremely stable within the water when pushing them around.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Linda Cerchia on August 21, 2014 5 of 6 people found this review useful I purchased the product years back in my older grandchildren and they totally loved it. I'm not sure whether it was exactly the same company then as now but the caliber of the merchandise is dramatically altered. I purchased this boat for the years old grand son and he loved it but it will have a significant problem should you got one having a plastc seat rather of the cloth seat. The boat is great--If only the horn made noise but as almost everybody has reported the canapy is really a joke. The plastic is really thin ours broke within a couple of days. Our old one was metallic and Survived for a long time. The plastic seat is extremely harmful. within 6 days, while our grand son is at it, it tore in the molded seam in the leg hole to around 1 " in the top. I did not realize that for only 5 min. within the pool our grand son was crying to get away from the boat. After I required him out I had been shocked to determine just how much the seat tore in this short time. The tear am big he was really falling with the left side from the seat. The seat is at top condition after i put him inside it on that day. I contacted the organization and described my problem and requested for any repacement seat and they do not make any--you need to purchase another cool product. Since I Have got no the aid of the organization and the organization recognizes that there's a security hazard using the plastic seats about this product and still puts their production and profit within the safety of kids, I've filed a complaint with Consumer Matters and ask that you simply do exactly the same for those who have were built with a similar problem. In my opinion the corporation should recalll the product because the safety from the children may come first over profit for the organization.Comment Was this review useful for you?
