By MaintenanceDave on October 27, 2011
Background , maintenance for two 300+ apartment communities
Bought this hoping lightening my bag for individuals third floor walkups - did not, happen rather I no more Have a bag whatsoever. This pouch holds all of the basics easily and safely, perfectly suitable for lounging within sink or worming via a crawlspace. It holds for me personally typically - Klein 11-1, Klein 9" lineman pliers, 12" needle nose, heating and cooling ratchet, Klein lengthy 5/16 and 3/8 nut driver, fluke volt light, 6" crescent, cigar tube filled with assorted screws, c tube of wire nuts/ clips, disposal wrench, stinger flash light, Elec and teflon tape, small roll Emory cloth, greenlee wire strippers, Irwin groove lock 8", and I am sure there's a couple of other odd bits inside it. The loops are adequately sized for that 11-1 in order to double load the thin tools I.e. the crescent and the ratchet share a loop)
I believed the belt clip could be a pain to chop off but it's sufficiently strong to aid the bah and very handy for individuals night time on calls, clip it on and go.
The only real things missing out of this bag or improvement I possibly could suggest will be a heavy clip or hook to carry something on the lanyard - on mine I simply ran a 4" carabiner with the front loop, easy spot to hang my drill etc.Comment Was this review useful for you? By Casey Johnson on The month of january 3, 2011
The pockets around the front of the pouch are extremely small and shallow. I've got a diagonal cutter and a telecom punch tool inside them and they simply barely remain in. When they were one inch and one half much deeper, they'd considerably better at holding the various tools. The loops within the pouch will also be really small. I needed to eliminate a few of the stitching to suit the funnel wrench, Tone probe and screwdriver inside them. Around the plus side the fabric is extremely sturdy and appears enjoy it would put on perfectly. The entire rig also hangs perfectly from the belt without swaying or banging around after i am walking. The primary pocket can also be deep enough for added tools and small parts.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I got myself this for that small tools I want in my usual maintenance work, and It really works all right. Sturdy without having to be stiff, big enough for everything (2 screwdrivers, 2 Wrenches, Torch, tape-measure, electrical & plumbing tape, Altoid box of washers, Altoid box of electrical bits, Pencil, Pen, notebook, big ring of keys, Phone) without getting in the manner. I be thankful getting a clip in addition to a belt loop, when i will often have to simply snap it up and run. It does have a tendency to gap oPen, especially if it's fully laden, but a flexible loop and a hook on each side from the gap reduced the problem. Next, I made the decision to get rid of among the inner loops and replace it with an adjustable velcro loop (a couple of things were a little too big or irregular to slot in the fixed loops). I have a much to change the flash light loop a little following the brand new one arrives, but that's just my odd style of flashlights.
I guess the truth that it is not perfect is balanced because when easy it's to monkey by using it. Would also create a good man-bag if you will need to butch up.2 Comments Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Eduardo on October 28, 2012 I have bought this "small" tool holder and I truly loved it. It is well-crafted, sufficiently strong to carry lots of tools. I'm able to even hold lengthy screwdrivers and regular sized 12 pound hammers. There are lots of divisions for the tools to suit. Additionally, it has two exterior clips/keychain holders that will help you to not lose your keys during work.
I personally use it having a dewalt padded belt and it truly helps me to not go searching in my forgotten tools within the work space. It is good for electricians and contractors that spend many of their time climbing ladders to achieve work.
It may carry lots of tools and still not get overweight to hold. I believe I would not have the ability to carry among the large pouches and still have the ability to climb ladders, change, enter crawlspaces... It is the perfect size for me personally.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us. its a great think I made the decision to utilize a belt with this particular pouch because the very first time I visited make use of the metal belt clip it clicked off. I additionally place a tie wrap in the center of the 2nd row and so i could really put wire cutters and needle nose alongside each other. Apart from that it appears enjoy it may serve you for a while and its a great size,no too large, not very small.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I actually do electrical focus on coil tubing reels and purchased this to hold tools around rather of dragging my tool box round the trailer in order to another building.
I carry inside it a set of 6 in pliers, 5 in cutters, a ratcheting screwdriver, three deep sockets, a little ratchet, a 6" ratchet extension, a number of medium tie wraps, smaller sized Klein flush cuts, three pens, a 5 in adjustable crescent, two crescent wrenches, a set of Klein catapult strippers, Folding Utility Knife, and an ordinary utility knife.
Just a little packed but I'm able to still fit an additional tool here and there after i require it. Been really impressed. People refer to it as my little bag of goodies. I am likely to place a shoulder strap onto it make the belt clip will get just a little bent up when clipped too lengthy. I normally just make it having a finger informed.
Can use bigger pockets right in front. Otherwise I really like it!Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... I made use of this bag about two times per week for any part-time job. Labored ideal for the very first 2 several weeks, before the metal belt clip broke. The clip is really a cheap design. I would not purchase the product again.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Appreciate your feedback. If the review is inappropriate, Please tell us.
