73 of 73 people found the following review helpful Great if you reside using laptops full-time like I actually do.
By Shaun on The month of january 10, 2008 Style Name: LX550
I personally use multiple laptops for act as I'm able to transport them from office to office easily, but hate typing around the small, cramped keyboards. This stand is extremely nice because it holds any size laptop very safely, can be adjusted to the amount of tilt completely to full vertical, and comes apart for sliding right into a new laptop bag and taking along with you.
The vertical placement this can perform is excellent, difficult to find in almost any other. Not a way these will slip out either, very secure design.
To make use of this effectively though you won't be in a position to type around the notebook keyboard even though it is within the stand, you would like desire a small USB keyboard to plug into and devote front, or perhaps a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. A lot better though allow it some air and enhance the screen to eye level.
Required off one star since it is flat across the bottom and blocks accessibility buttons around the front of my Dell XPS 1210 for such things as mute and Volume control, there's a Kensington stand I additionally have in the Dell site which has a curved front to permit use of individuals buttons, but it doesn't go vertical such as this one, and so do to select what is the best for you.
Overall, excellent, recommend to get the office space back.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By taupecat on March 27, 2007 Style Name: LX550 This is an excellent laptop riser - solidly built with lots of non-skid rubber to help keep it in position. My office got me one in my MacBook Pro but regrettably it isn't quite compatible. Despite the fact that it's adjustable, it's not adjustable enough to get the screen verticle when the laptop is open all the way (since MBP's possess a more limited hinge than most PC laptops). Therefore, I have to prop the foot of it to area of the box the riser arrived, therefore the whole front from the non-skid rubber is sitting on this area rather from the desk.
also, should you place a MBP around the riser while closed, the riser's front ledge blocks outdoors button, so I must make certain I have opened up it BEFORE I use it the riser.
In a nutshell, it is a decent enough riser, but I am likely to most likely need to get a MBP specific riser from my very own pocket sooner or later rather.15 Comments Was this review useful for you? by Mr. Duncan A. Howarth on September 8, 2008 Style Name: LX550 I have had a couple of these for several months now and I can not sing their praises enough.I've one in your home office and one around the bedside table that is a boon when hooking the notebook to the flatscreen and Watching Downloaded Movies.I in addition have a Logitech wireless mouse that actually works great around the bedcovers and takes proper care of most functions I want.
In response to Jeffs comments I can only suggest that he programmes his computer mouse (I additionally use Logitech wireless at work) in order that it are designed for the amount and mute functions on his notebook. That's what I've done and its sweet.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? We purchased this to show a 17" laptop right into a desktop unit. It really works great and was created well. Might be a bit heavier but it's totally adjustable and sturdy enough if you're not likely to be moving laptops around a great deal. 3M doesn't make junk. I checked out other brands and Designs, even made the purchase which i came back towards the store. It was the very best.
update: 8/6/2013 Almost five years later the 17" laptop is lengthy gone but we are still by using this great little are a symbol of the 14" laptop and named.Comment Was this review useful for you? Before I purchased this item for private use, I'd recently been by using this at the office for around per month. It's been a benefit in my stressed neck muscles. I've got a Toshiba M35 15.4" wide-screen laptop in your own home and a Compaq nc6000 at the office. Although it fits just perfectly with the laptops, there is a slight overhang (approximately 1" somewhere) when combined with the Toshiba laptop. This can be an irritant if you would want to attach the mounting bracket for the document holder (that we would be prepared to be incorporated using the product, not offered being an extra). You receive the mounting bracket, but not the document holder!!
The good news is that the product is very very flexible (with multiple height settings) and very laptop-friendly (with vents within the base. This is preferable to putting your laptop on the flat working surface.) Each of my laptops operate a lot cooler! The detachable shelves (2 in number) are handy, but you might work all right. 3M should switch the other using the document holder. If you are using a radio mouse, place the bottom onto it, or somewhat trinket.
Finally, just for $23, you can't beat this laptop riser. I've always respected 3M and this excellent product has not dimmed my popularity of them.
This is actually the best, Affordable, and awesome-searching laptop riser.1 Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Joshua D. Benedikt on November 15, 2005 Style Name: LX500 I got myself this to ensure that I'd have room on my small desk for any secondary keyboard. After I first got it, I recognized there was enough room beneath the elevated laptop to suit my exterior hard disk, USB Hub, and network switch. My desk has become significantly less clutterd with wires, and laptops reaches an infinitely more comfortable height.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Diogenes on Feb 10, 2011 Style Name: LX600MB
We are upon the market and OLd... making ergonomics vital. The wife drives using the seat completely up. I've it completely back. Our latest laptop measures 16.35" (W) x 10.8" (d) X 1.25" (H), includes a 17.3" display and comes in at
6? lbs. We purchased the 3M LX600MB (at approximately half retail) from and used it daily, sometimes for hrs, since part one of The month of january 2011. It adjusts way simpler than either people and stays put until certainly one of us readjusts it. Using the laptop sitting down, the stand will let us rotate it easily sideways around the desk or 360 levels should there be grounds to. it's well-crafted and keeps the device's display in the appropriate height for everybody who uses it. We've been very pleased with the acquisition and, For that cost compensated, wouldn't hesitate to help make the same purchase again. The LX600MB gets a standing ovation from us (as does this order from .com).
Being an additional note: It's 2012. We still use the 3M riser every day. We are still pleased.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback...
