15 of 16 people found the following review helpful vibrant, Portable, light-weight artist inside a tight package! Insufficient internal Bluetooth bites though!
By Steve on March 29, 2015 Just selected this up in a local BestBuy - as of this moment doesn't appear to get it available.
This really is my first projector for use at home. I have been testing it for last 72 hours since I have selected up.
I've been in market for portable home projector for fast few months (like a TV substitute). I heard LG was picking out new projector - and been watching on it (PW800 being certainly one of, others are LG PW600G and PF1500. I'm little wrongly identified as PW600G in this way that /BH has began listing this model additionally to PW800 but no coverages can be found in LG homepage nor any news coverages).
Anyhow - they are my primary observations.
Size (5/5) : very light and Small. Attached picture along with my hand (about medium size assertive) To compare,.
Brightness (4.5/5) : This really is my first home PJ - and so i am speaking when it comes to my primary impression. During day light with blinds blocking off direct sun lights, you'll be able to watch with greatest brightness.
Noise (3.5/5) : Frequency higher the fan. I don't know high quiet a house projector could be, but fan noise was certainly audible. When you show up the sounds in the system however, I suppose this could become lesser a problem to bother with.
Remote (5/5) : Incorporated remote enables you to definitely control practically all necessary settings effortlessly.
Projection Angle (5/5) : I had been quite amazed in the position you are able to shoot with. Initially I figured you have to shoot it virtually, searching directly in the screen. However, I find it that you can shoot it at pretty steep angle (60 levels+?) and it's adjust the screen that you could view. Obviously, this is not optimal but I've not found much degradation in video quality while playing things from YouTube. Read more › 5 Comments Was this review useful for you? By Jen on May 2, 2015 Basically could, I'd provide 4.5 stars. I purchased this to exchange my QUMI Q2 projector that was sufficient your money can buy. I actually do trainings in a number of settings and or no outdoors light was present it entirely beaten up the screen using the QUMI. I tested the LG PW800 before I left on the speaking tour inside a room with 3 large home windows and it had been still very vibrant. The brightness decreased hardly any after i opened up the blinds and switched around the light. The car-correction for keystoning is outstanding...Love this! Within my tour people could browse the slides easily despite finding yourself in a properly-lit room and the screen being relatively small. It is a little bigger compared to Q2 but comparable weight. The additional room it requires in my suitcase is totally well worth the extra lumen power. I actually do LOVE this projector, but I actually do get one beef. There's no protection for that lens. The situation may be the blue rubber cover within the photo that provides zero protection for that lens. My prediction is I'm able to buy a cap for this, but LG does not offer it and it will likely be an inconvenience. I made use of a baby shower cap to pay for it. I am unable to discuss the seem b/c I personally use my computer for just about any seem.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... By Frederick Jenks VINE VOICE on June 16, 2015 Vine Customer Overview of Free Product To begin with, shipped fast, Showed up fast, good job. ok, right from the start, this really is missing a lens cap and some cables so remember that. I set this up in a tiny room and was astonished this little bad boy can output an excellent image in my kids for his or her movies. Now don't misunderstand me, I believe this can be a nice travel warrior for business owners who'll utilize it inside a somewhat dark establishing a celebration room, but when the room is not a minimum of somewhat dark, I'd stear clear. The projector has a nice blueish pouch which will safeguard it inside your backpack and briefcase that we thought could be ideal for individuals on the highway. I still am baffled concerning the lens cap though, as that will of been a couple of dollars, so use the internet for something you can throw within the lens. The remote is simple to use so that's a nice bonus and the system really does not have that hot whatsoever too. Another killer feature with this particular unit may be the built-in TV tuner. I was able to broadcast some nice sporting events via over the air (OTA) signal in my area (get an exterior antenna from amazon . com inexpensively). I had been also in a position to just connect a USB stick and view some movies from the video camera on screen, that was nice. Overall, I'm amazed by what this little guy can perform, and I expect to taking it on the highway on journeys and to my beach house for many quick movie action.Comment Was this review useful for you? By umpy on April 19, 2015 I selected this up in a local store today..Wasn't confident that they'd it available but they'd just one left.I compensated 75..00 greater than i'd have basically got it online But for me it had been worthwhile.A minimum of if tips over into it it's a couple miles away versus shipping it back.I own several small brought projectors and 3 -3lcd projectors.aaxa p300,aaxa showtime, axxa android,Qumi 5,optoma ml550,LG HW 350T,Lg PA75u,Epson 2030,3M DMS 700,pyle projector and this pw800.When compared to lg pa75u,It dosent appear to become as vibrant but close..However the clearness and color image be more effective and this factor is over fifty percent the dimensions.Within the first review someone commented about how hot it might get using the high lumens with it's small size.Well I"ll obvious that up at this time! This little projector hardly throws associated with a heat whatsoever! I could not accept is as true! the very best stays totally awesome to touch as the bottom left corner will get slightly warm and i actually do mean slightly! My aaxa p300 will get way warmer than this and it is just 300 lumens...Heat will certainly not matter. My primary reason behind purchasing to it's low power consumption.I intend on using this towards the camp when i can power it of the 19 volt adapter that's the same output because the power brick it included.I'm able to run them back a twelve volt deep cycle battery.I like this little projector. Also connected my portable antenna into it and selected up 17 channels.Labored great!!! 7 Comments Was this review useful for you?
