I'm a skill conservator and bought this taking iron for work after many recommendations using their company conservators. Pointless to state I had been absolutely disappointed and frustrated once the heating unit unsuccessful in the center of employment. I visited the manufacture fully expecting the runaround about my warranty. Rather my iron was replaced inside a week and I've been positively utilizing it since happily. I would suggest not departing it on high for longer amounts of time. The cheapest setting continues to be pretty hot, so make certain it is within the stand.Comment Was this review useful for you? there is rarely a day that goes by that I don't find a way to use this tool at my job ...maybe i am not utilizing it based on it's intended target, but it is a handy tool nonetheless ... heat activated fusion techniques appear to become stronger and clean, and most frequently occasions are reversible by simply applying more heat. Small and precise. My personal favorite tool within my repertoire.Comment Was this review useful for you? Yes No Delivering feedback... Inspect the wooden collar over the handle before use. The collar on mine was cracked. This can result in a premature failure. A cracked/damaged collar on my small current Coverite trim seal iron, After a period useful, was the reason behind obtaining a substitute.Comment Was this review useful for you? Less than sure why this really is listed like a toy. I really purchased this for sticking Filmoplast R to paper but it does not get hot enough. The little shoe from the iron appeared as if it might work with tight spaces, and it might if perhaps the iron heated another 100 levels F. It just will get as much as 300 levels, and 400 is what is required in my purposes. not the product's fault, I had been just experimenting as conservator's or tacking irons crap out after about two several weeks and I am searching to have an alternative.
To this product's listing like a toy. When I mentioned, it gets hotter to 300 levels F, so close parental supervision is warranted.Comment Was this review useful for you?
